My oven was delivered on schedule and the seller kept me abreast of the shipping progress. There were no unpleasant surprises; very satisfied with my oven. There are only few 24 inch black double ovens available on the market and this was perfect for my replacement.
Wish I would have ordered a unit with an interior wall two inches wider to allow for a half cookie sheet
The best thing about this oven (cwe5800acb) was that it fit the hole where my 1980 vintage Magic Chef 24" double oven was mounted. The published Maytag cutout dimensions made me think I would have to carve out an extra 1/2" of height from my cabinet. But when it arrived I found it was an exact drop in for the old oven, even down to the location of the cabinet mounting holes in the frame. This is huge from the point of view of the installer.
I've had the oven for 2 1/2 years now, and everything still works great. The self cleaning feature restores the (top) oven to like new. The controls are accurate and functional. The only slight quibble I have is the fan is slightly noisy. I'm guessing the fan is necessary to cool the controls, since my Magic Chef had no fan and its controls kept going out. A little noise is a good trade off for reliable operation.
I've recently been doing some on-line shopping and have found user reviews very helpful. So maybe this review will help those in the market for ovens.
We have had this product for almost a year and it works great. Awesome baking experience. Very consistent.
