Whynter FWC-341TS 34 Bottle Freestanding Wine Refrigerator with Display Shelf and Digital Control, Stainless Steel, One Size

We are quite pleased with this refrigerator. For a freestanding unit, it looks good in the corner of the kitchen. I store open bottles with the tilted rack at the bottom. It can get cold enough for white wines but we generally set it around 50 degrees for long term storage. We had a wine enthusiast fridge that didn't quite have the appeal of this. It's hardly emits any sound and has a decent storage capacity.

The Whynter FWC-341TS is an overall outstanding wine cooler with a compressor to keep my wine bottles chilled at 40 degrees. I researched many other brand wine coolers and the Whynter coolers have the highest customer satisfaction rating of all wine coolers on the market. This is a great cooler for the price, quality and exterior design. It holds up to 34 bottles of wine. I will be buying additional Whynter wine coolers in the future since I make my own wine collections at my business office and home. Moreover, Whynter does an outstanding job in packing their wine coolers in order to assure the cooler does not become damaged in shipping by packing the cooler in a heavy duty box with a lot of padding, then taking the original cooler box and packing it into a second larger shipping carton which placed between the two heavy duty shipping boxes. Just goes to show how much emphasis Whynter places on "Quality Control". Overall I am very happy to my purchase of this wine cooler. so I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to store their collection of wine.

Received the unit in perfect condition. The packaging seemed pretty bullet-proof. It's looks really good in real life. The racking is fully removable so you can essentially convert it any way you like. The half bottle rack at the bottom is essential. You can put your partials on that. I use it for beers and sodas as well so I set it to the max cooling. It gets down close to 34-36 degrees which is ice cold and just how I want it. I have an older danby wine unit as well and this seems like a more updated and quiet version. I'm rather pleased with this Whynter unit.

When I was shopping for a cooler that was supposed to be my husband's birthday present, I found myself in trouble with so many negative reviews not only on this particular one, but for the most small coolers on the market. So, my own experience was positive in every possible way; came on time and very well protected, intact, without any scratches, and it only makes quiet hum when cooling. Highly recommended

I bought this for a party I was having and was really impressed with the quality. It arrived on time and was really well made. I can’t recommend this enough to other wine enthusiasts like myself.

We bought this wine refrigerator to replace the one I had in my basement. I set it for the lowest temperature and keep both my wine and beer in it. We chose this one based on the great price and the looks with the wood racks. It has been holding the temperature with and without bottles in it. My last unit made loud sounds but this one barely makes any. I am very happy with this purchase!

This holds 34 bottles (very snugly!) but i'd say more like 29/30 comfortably. We found that we really had to play tetris to make 34 fit, considering all the bottles were shaped differently, but we were able to get 34 in. It does have a key so our kids can't open it, which is great and the lock is located on the bottom front. The racks itself pull out fairly easily when it's not loaded. When the fridge is packed to the max, you'll need to pull a bottle fully off of the shelf to be able to pull the shelf out. As far as the sound, you can hear noise, but it's more like a very soft, white noise. Only noticeable if the house is quiet and i'm within 20 feet of it. Overall, i'd recommend it!

We have always wanted a wine refrigerator for our family room and after doing some research, we came across the Whynter FWC-341TS. We had previously purchased a Whynter ice cream maker, so we were familiar with the brand and quality of the unit. The refrigerator arrived when promised, was well packaged and was very simple to set up. However, we discovered a broken clip on a drip tray which is mounted on top of the compressor unit. I emailed the support center at about 1a.m. to notify Whynter about the issue. By 10 a.m. I had received a reply from support apologizing for the broken tray and notification that a new tray would be sent out immediately. I find it very refreshing to receive resolution to an issue so quickly. Thanks so much! On a side note, most microwaves are noisier than the compressor unit in this refrigerator, to answer a few reviews which talk about noise.

Overall I like the look and performance of the cooler. 34 bottles fit and the machine is relatively quiet except when compressor runs, when there is some gurgling, but not to an annoying degree. However, the thermostat is off. I put 34 bottles of red wine in according to configuration B in the manual. The ambient temperature is 87 degrees and adequate space exists around the cooler. I set the temperature to 55. I put two thermometers inside on a top and bottom rack. The top reads 62, the bottom 60. Nevertheless my wine is at the recommended range.

Nice little wine fridge. Only fits 20 bottles of wine if you use the bottom shelf for your upright bottles. Still a good value.
