Bright, vivid color. It's easy to use. Just drop the per-measured packet into your dye bottle, add water, shake and it's ready for use. No mess, no measuring. The color maintains it's brightness after several washings.
Perfect die
very bright if you use soda ash, pre-wash and use 100% cotton.
Quality
It was easy to mix in the bottles I already had.

Description
Tulip One-Step Dye Refills the most convenient and eco-friendly way to continue the fabric dyeing experience. Just drop a single packet of dye into your already-used Tulip One-Step Dye bottle, add water and shake the magical packet dissolves in just one minute. Offered in our best-selling dye colors. Vibrant, permanent and washable.
I used this for shibori patterned pillow cases and to get deeper, more saturated color, I used all three dye packets in 8 ounces of water. Turned out awesome. The pillowcases have been through the wash once a week for several months and the color is still bright and saturated!
The only issue was that the little "dissolveable" packets don't really dissolve well and if the undissolved parts get on your item it makes very dark color blotches. I recommend wearing DRY latex gloves, cutting the packets open over some newspaper, shaking the dye powder into your DRY dye bottle, then throwing the empty packet away along with the newspaper. If you do this while everything is dry the process is not messy. If your gloves or bottle are damp/wet, the packet will get sticky and make it difficult (and messy!) to get the dye powder out of the packet and into the dye bottle.
I didn’t realize these were dissolving bags until I ruined 2. You just put them in the bottle and fill with water. I attempted to empty the contents into a bottle, but a drop of water started to dissolve that packet. My fault.
Perfect color! Packets say to add water and shake but the pouch did not dissolve fully and caused issues with application.
Nice bright yellow dye that has survived a number of washings without losing color quality. I used it to dye t-shirt fabric in a funky mottled pattern and it worked very well.
It comes in packets that dissolve in the mixing bottle. So nice not to have dye all over my hands while trying to put powder into the mixing bottle.
