We adopted a cat from our local humane society and wanted to spoil him. He had come in with ear mites, a puncture wound to his leg and a respiratory infection. Despite that he was friendly, and affectionate even with our 2 year old twins. I wanted to find a grain free food with the majority of its protein coming from meat. I came across Nulo and after researching the food and it's company decided to give it a try. He loves it. He devours everything in his bowl at mealtime and even seems to prefer it to treats. He has been flourishing since coming into our home and transitioning to Nulo. I highly recommend it!
If you have a cat that has a sensitive stomach this cat food is for you. We have a cat that use to throw up at least four times a week, but after changing to NULO, the throwing up has almost come to an end. We still see the occasional fur ball, but cats will be cats.
love the kibble size. My 8 year old Persian in liver failure went from months of diarrhea to nearly solid feces after just a few days. Also significantly improved smell. Sorry to talk poo but this food has made our household very happy.
Cats liked it a lot. I liked that they liked it. I also was dead set on a grain free diet. The Vet and I had a discussion about grain free vs. grain and some small health issues my cats were experiencing. I switched to a grain included brand and their issues cleared up. So for us for now on we will stick with grain included. Not bashing grain free, but sometimes the ingredients used in lieu of grain causes issues for some cats like mine. They price was right. The kibble size was great and they gobbled it down when they were on it.
My cat really likes Nulo; I noticed that the small kibble makes it a lot easier for her to chew, and when she's on the Nulo diet her poop doesn't smell awful as much. It goes in her automatic feeder and spits out really well, doesn't clog the machine. Previously she was spoiled with Tikka Cat wet food but thats very expensive and not sustainable. This helps her stay at a steady weight too.

This food is my cat's favorite! When I first adopted her, they gave me a free bag of another brand. When I went to pick up initial supplies, the pet store also provided me with a free bag of Nulo Freestyle. Needless to say, Tulsa much preferred the Nulo food, and I haven't considered changing it since. I can't comment comparatively, but I can say that she has had consistently very good poops, has a nice soft coat, and is thrilled at mealtime. I'd highly recommend treating your cat to Nulo Freestyle!
I am having trouble receiving my cat's dry food in town and looked online for it. Upon investigation I learned that the food that I thought was so good for her was just okay. So I researched for days on what would be best for my beloved kitty and came across Nulo. I am very pleased with what I have read on different sites regarding this cat food. It has a five star rating everywhere I have looked and appears to have all the nutrients my kitty needs. But honestly it all comes down to wether my kitty will eat the food. The first day she looked at me like I was crazy for changing her food but soon she gave in and tried it. Now she goes nuts for it. She meows like crazy when she knows I am going to fill her bowl. I even caught her trying to open the bag! I keep her bag in a cabinet now so she doesn't get into it. I am very pleased with this cat food. She loves and her fur looks great. Also, I have noticed that she is pooping less and it has less of a stink to it. That is such a bonus as her cat box is in my bedroom.
As a side note, I feed her Merrick Purrfect Bistro Gourmet Shreds in the morning. She likes the Turkey flavor and the Chicken flavor. Then at night I give her the Nulo Indoor in the green bag. She is one happy cat with this meal schedule and her weight looks really good.
I like it but the cats don't. They refused to eat it for 3 days and won out. I had to resort to mixing it with canned food to get them to eat it. I thought that I had purchased it before but I thought it was chicken and cod for indoor cats. Their fur was shinier and the long haired one did not vomit as often, maybe once a week. Will have to try the blue package next time.
I have three cats...two that will eat almost anything and then a picky Siamese who, anytime she eats something new, has diarrhea. It is frustrating with her because just one bite and she will go to the gross side. So after stumbling across the Nulo Turkey Formula during Amazon Prime Day for half price, I bought a bag and low and behold all three of them loved it. Even picky girl. So when that first bag of Turkey was gone, I checked to see what other flavors there were and bought the duck formula and the chicken formula. Surprisingly, they LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The Duck Formula - the three of them go though a small cat bowl of it a day where before it would take them 3 days or more to eat that much dry food and the best part, no yucky running nasty poop incidents thanks to the Probiotics! Which is what I was hoping for when I got it for them. They aren't eating the chicken formula much, mostly because they love the duck so much and are chowing that down but I suspect if the duck was gone they would then eat the chicken formula. This is my go to dry food for the cats and now I am going to try the dog food formula for my senior girl.
I bought this product after iams caused my cat to suffer from upper respiratory problems and then she did not like the food we bought from the store to try to get her better. So I ordered this after I read am article about the healthier good of 2019. It arrived today So the health benefits have yet to be evident. But she absolutely loves it! Some people said their cats wouldn't touch it. So i was nervous. I will update this when I see the health benefits. But she is happier after eating it so I know she feels better. 🐱
