I love toaster products and for years i have just dealt with the pain, no more. When this arrived i immediately opened, washed and used it. Im very happy with it. Silicone over metal and the silicone is thick enough that i do not think the metal will break through anytime soon.
If you are tired of burned fingers this here is the product you need.
EDIT. So after using it for a couple weeks it is still everything i mentioned above. One quick note tho, it picks up lint, dust and various particles very easily, it rinses off easily as well.. This hasn't changed my opinion of it but i thought i would mention it in case it will affect your decision in purchasing it.
Excellent product. It really helps to remove toast without burning your fingers. Our new toaster just did not pop the toast up high enough to remove it with fingers without getting burned every other time. This tool fits well in the toaster slot and can be kept discreetly near the toaster. The tong ends have grooves to more securely hold the toast and the handle end is not slippery at all. Must be the all silicone construction. I was worried that the tongs might be too soft and overly flexible, but that is not the case. I highly recommend this product.
I purchased these tongs in 2015 and have been using them daily since then. We mainly use them as toaster tongs and they are well suited to that purpose. They are silicone so no danger of shock. They are sturdy but are slim enough to reach into the toaster slots easily. They wash up eaisily and after years of use show no signs of wear. I am very happy with them. They are a huge upgrade over wooden tongs.
I've had these tongs for about 5 years, and they're the absolute best at removing toast from a hot toaster. Their flexibility allows me to remove wide food (bagel halves) as well as thin slices of toasted bread. Used to have some bamboo toast tongs, but they broke pretty soon after I bought them. These silicone ones are much better.
Have been using these for 9 months now and they are still good as new. Haven't lost their spring nor has the silicone coating worn away.
I will note that the image of the product may differ slightly as mine came with ridges for grip rather than the dots that are pictured but that shouldn't make a difference to their usefulness.

I bought these to help guide my homemade hand-sliced bread out of the toaster as the irregular nooks and crannies tend to get stuck, and these tongs work exactly as I hoped. Nice simple, sleek design, and the silicone means you don't have to worry about getting shocked, or them melting or burning. Their compact size makes them also good for serving pickles and olives, and picking up other small items, particularly from hot dishes. They also work on those bizarre uses that you never could have imagined needing them for such as picking out the flying dog fur when my black lab decides to shake herself in the kitchen just as I'm about to put a baked good in the oven...(My Bella has a good heart, but a bad sense of timing!)
These are terrific for toaster products, kitchen assist and restarting Kleenex dispensing from a box without stretching the slit in the cellophane box top. This was repurchase of the product as we needed spares for other rooms.
They were just what I was looking for. I wanted them to put in toppings in a taco bar. Works great with lettuce, tomatoes and onions but cheese did stick to them. Will spray with Pam next time I try them in cheese and see if that helps. Overall, very handy and a good purchase.
I bought this for one thing only: getting my toast, bagels and muffins out of the toaster. And they do exactly what they are supposed to. The silicone is solid enough that you can get a good grip and long enough that your fingers are not going to get burned. Can be thrown in the dishwasher. Usually I just knock any crumbs off and throw it back in the drawer. Would recommend.
