We looked at a lot of wine refrigerators and actually ordered a more expensive one first. We chose this when that one could't be delivered for over six weeks. This one came in a few days. It's well packed with solid blocks of almost three inch thick styrofoam on all sides. The door is easy to reverse. Although there are several warnings in the instructions that it's a two person job I was able to reverse the door easily myself and install the handle in maybe 20 minutes. It did make a bit of noise when first turned on but it's fairly quiet now that it's just holding the temperature. Makes a lot less noise than our kitchen refrigerator for sure. We just set it at 55 degrees F and it's maintaining that just fine. The shelves are all wood and on the light weight side. They are not full extension so you can't really see the bottles in the back without taking them out. They claim low vibrations and I certainly haven't noticed any vibrations when the compressor is running. So far we're very happy with it. The minuses are the shelf extension limit and no humidity controls but it's about on fifth the price of the models hat have those features so that's fine.
The wine cooler arrived without any issues. It is as described, it is quiet and looks beautiful. We are excited to be able to store our wines and enjoy our new wine cooler.
Looks gorgeous in our wet bar area of the kitchen. The design is sleek. Blue lights can be left on or off. Dual temp works well. We paired this with the Kalamera beverage fridge and they look great together. The product is quiet.
i ordered this cooler to replace my old one that quit working. I received this cooler with no damage and needing just a little bit of assembly. I was able to mount the door myself (carefully) as it is heavy. I have had it about two months now and it works really well, and i can hardly hear it running. I did let the cooler sit for a day before plugging it in. The one feature with this new one that is better then my other is the shelving. you can remove one and make more space for larger bottles. the wood shelves slide smoothly in and out fully loaded. the only complaint is there was a strong odor inside the unit. I placed a box of arm and hammer baking soda inside and after awhile the smell is gone.
Had a few months, works fine so far. Temp seems to stay +/- 1 degree of setting (56). Shelves are wood and light but work fine. Looks good. Great price. Time will tell on durability. My much higher $ vinotemp only lasted 3.5 years.

We’ve only had the cooler about two weeks. It arrived in a cardboard box. There was a dig in the cardboard and my first thought was damaged in shipping. However when I removed the packaging there was a styrofoam layer on all sides which protected the cooler. No damage! It is very stylish and sharp looking. It’s been keeping my whites nice and cool. There is no vibration that I’m aware of! But the best feature is it is quiet. You don’t hear the compressor at all. We sit 3-4 feet from it and it is quiet.
My cooler stopped cooling. It still ran but the temperature inside the cooler started to rise. I contacted Kalamera via email. I received a prompt reply from a fellow named Jolly. He asked for some additional information which I provided. Then some photos of the unit. He sent it to their engineers for review. Jolly then informed me that they would reimburse the full cost of the unit. I was surprised, shocked and disappointed. Surprised and shocked because they were giving me my money back. Disappointed because my cooler couldn't be fixed. This took a total of about two weeks. Kalamera did not drag their feet on this. Because of this and Jolly's handling of the matter I'm leaving my rating.
Positive- Product was shipped on time and in perfect condition. No drinks or scratches. I have it in my kitchen so I dont think it is any noisier than my fridge. And holds a lot of bottles. I fit 46 so far and still have room. Overall I'm please with product.
Negative (but I'm fine living with them) similar to other reviews 1) the temperature setting is not accurate. I'm finding it to be off by at least 10 degrees! I have my own thermometer in fridge and it really is off. 2) temperature on top of fridge is much colder because it is by the cooling fans. It is probably cooler by 6 degrees on the top shelf. Simple fix for manufacturer would be to put an additional fan near bottom shelves

Product arrived on time, very well boxed, however, the door fell of while unpacking and did not seat well when put back on. The door is now functioning despite a small amount of damage to the door hinge. The wooden shelves are very flimsy and pull or fall apart too easily. I anticipate this will become a problem in the future. The unit is surprisingly quiet, however it started making a noise like a frog after about 3-weeks perhaps because I unplugged it while it was running. I subsequently unplugged the unit for 24-hours and now it is extremely quiet again. The unit is good looking. If the door and the shelves hold up it should prove to be a good buy.
We purchased this to replace an old mini fridge in our family room. We call it our "starter wine collection", and are using it for longer term storage of the many bottles of wine we had in a closet wine rack. We chose it based on the dimensions and reviews, and the price point was good. It arrived to the front door in perfect condition, and installation was a breeze. Can't tell you if the wine is doing well, but will come back here in 10 years and update this review lol.
