This fit my son's 1st generation iPad perfectly. He is autistic and really relies on his iPad when we travel. He gets frustrated when the battery runs out and he doesn't understand that it needs to be plugged in but he tolerates it being charged using this case. The battery is fairly thick and heavy but that means it can last a long time. The battery holds it's charge for a long time when not plugged in.
I bought this for my daughter. She is always using her ipad for school or to take photos or video. Now we dont habe to worry about finding a way to charge her ipad while out. Very convenient 👍
Works as mentioned. I gave it 4 stars because mine had some kind of adhesive or gunk on the inside. I wiped it off my Ipad and off the inside along the seam. Everything was fine after. The battery gives my Ipad 2 1 full charge. This goes well with my portable bluetooth keyboard since im working on my Ipad continuously while listening to music and watching videos when I take breaks.
I have now owned the Justin Power Case for about a month. Its capacity is nearly equal to that of the iPad internal battery which means it will recharge an empty iPad battery to nearly 100%. As expected it essentially doubles the weight of the iPad. The leatherette case which holds the battery and the iPad is not fancy but is quite acceptable. My main complaint is that the connection between the power case and iPad is a 6 inch cord with a USB jack on one end and an outdated 30 pin connector on the other. This cord is not shipped with the Justin Power Case but must be purchased separately. Radio Shack stocks these. If the cord is plugged in to the USB and 30 pin connector it protrudes awkwardly from the side of the case and is subject to loss. If the cord is continuously plugged in, repeated opening and closing of the case will flex the cord which will eventually cause it to break. Of course, the cord could be carried separately and plugged in only when charging the iPad but this is another item to keep track of.
In conclusion, I will say that this power case does exactly what it is intended to do and does it very effectively. For the sake of holding down cost, there were some significant design compromises which might be remedied in subsequent versions.
This allows my iPad 2 to keep running on the old battery which doesn't hold charge like it used to. Cannot charge this and iPad at same time, unfortunately.

Works fine with a long USB connector. Tried a shorter cord but had to return it. I wish it would have come with a connecting cord then I would give it 5 stars.
I rarely use this but I liked it....it seemed to work well.
Works very well. Charges quickly and last for a very long time. I wish it held the iPad better. It just has one little strap on the open side where you slide the iPad in to hold it, but it does hold it in place. The case is also not all that heavy.
This holds about 85% of one charge, but it's useful. Heavy as described.
Love this thing. I've been frustrated with the hassle of finding outlets at airports, but that problem is solved with this case / charger. Now I'm gonna get one for my wife.
