Range hood looks great very shiny and stylish. Installation was a little pain but we made it work. Instructions are too vague. Overall satisfied. Will recommend product
It works great, looks lovely and is not as loud as I had feared. However, I still can't figure out how to set the time. And, the hanging holes are nine inches apart. Studs are standard 16 or so and 9 makes no sense. My contractor had to open the dry wall and put additional wood support in the wall.
Pros:
Excellent performance even at medium keeping spice and oil smells at bay. (Neighbor complains tho :-)
Easy clean filters
Light is sufficient for the stove top
Controls are easy enough
Timer is great to switch off the stove and leave
Cons:
Controls can be touchy or get stuck in on. Pressing another button and then off works.
Noisy enough though not as noisy as traditional hoods.
Installation tips:
Use own hardware to mount.
Use a closeable vent in cold regions so it opens only when on and keeps out the ice and snow when off. Install vent under a roof or overhand to prevent snow and ice buildup.
Kitchenis still in the remodel phase but this range is perfect for the layout. Ignore the mess...
So far so good, very easy install but like people said, the manual is very basic. Has anyone figured out how to set the clock?
