I do really like this product for its ingredients. The smell is fruity and fun, which my kids love. It gets their hair clean and lathers well. My only complaint is that a conditioner is still needed after a wash for long hair. It does not moisturize and detangle well by itself. I would love if there was a Fresh Monster conditioner.
This shampoo cleans my children's hair well. It smells good too but doesn't leave their hair smelling like the product. It suds up well. I love that it is all natural and chemical free. It says it is a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. However it doesn't seem very conditioning. I still need to use my natural conditioner on my hair and my daughters hair when we use this shampoo. That's my only complaint. I have very hick wavy hair. My 4 year old daughter has thicker fine hair and brushing it after using this shampoo is a no-go!! Other than that I love the product. I would continue to buy it and use it for my son who has a shirt boy haircut. I've purchased a different natural/organic shampoo for my daughter by Just Natural (Girls Shampoo) and it leaves her hair soft without being oily like conditioner tends to leave hair. With that shampoo I'm able to brush her hair wet or dry.
My boys are 6, 4, and 1, and I only want to deal with one bottle of shampoo in their tub. So, they’d all been using baby shampoo! But clearly the older boys needed conditioner. I was so happy to find this natural 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioner for kids! They’re not bothered with any extra steps to condition their hair (if conditioner was separate, it just wouldn’t happen!!) and they no longer get knots! Their hair looks and feels SO much better. I recommend this stuff for sure!
We had been using Babyganics baby wash until my 4 year old boy's hair started to feel like straw, and decided we needed a dedicated shampoo with conditioner. We found Fresh Monster on the EWG.org website, and I was very pleased with the non-toxic ingredients. The shampoo smells heavenly like watermelon, but doesn't linger after it is rinsed. It makes my kid's hair so much softer and it is easier to control. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that I wish the bottle was a little bigger for the price. It takes about 2 pumps to get a good lather (and this is for a short haired boy), and it's been only 2 weeks of daily baths and we are already 1/4 out of the bottle. Will definitely be ordering again, this time on Subscribe & Save to save some money.
Our family LOVES the Fresh Monster products! It works really well and doesn't irritate my sensitive child's scalp. It doesn't have sulfates, parabens, phthalates, dyes or synthetic fragrances, which is important to me. The light fragrance that it does have is pleasant and refreshing. The pump makes it super handy for my kids to wash their own hair without dumping out way too much. It also makes it easy for me to hold my slippery toddler in place with one hand while getting more shampoo with the other. The icing on the cake is that it's affordable and not at all over-priced! I'm so glad we discovered these products!

This smells SO GOOD. I can't stop sniffing my two year olds hair. Also, it's super gentle and got all of the tangles out. It left her hair soft and not frizzy. Which is one of our issues with other kids hair products.
I’m so glad I found this stuff! My daughter’s scalp was starting to get really dry and flaky with the old shampoo we were using. I wanted something moisturizing without any nasty chemicals. This stuff is exactly what I was looking for! We chose the watermelon scent and it is such a nice fresh smell. It makes my daughter’s hair look and feel so soft and clean. Her scalp isn’t so dry anymore. She loves it too and gets excited for bath time so she can use her “monster shampoo”. You can’t beat the great price either! We will definitely continue buying this!
I got this for my son and he really likes it. It smells good and definitely is more natural than some other products. The smell is light yet smells like real watermelons and not like chemicals. It works great on my sons hair, since he has somewhat longer hair it helps take the tangles out. As product arrived on time and I would definitely recommend it for someone who has a kid with long or somewhat long hair and want something a little bit more natural.
My four year old is in love with this product. When his big brother moved to a more masculine scented shampoo/body wash, the little one couldn't be left behind. We've used several brands of the baby/kids products that are SAFE. My boys didn't want to smell like babies anymore, so I set out to find BIG KID products with child-friendly smells that still met mom's standards for safety and ingredients-- the market was surprisingly lacking. I found the Freah Monster and like the scent options. We have been very happy with the Fresh Monster brand! Watermelon for the 4-yr old and Ocean Splash for the 8-yr old. Saving the detangler spray we got for the summertime when their hair gets crunchy from the pool and they need the extra conditioning-- I'm sure we will be pleased!!
My son wanted to start handling his own showers. I didn't trust him with a big shampoo bottle and I didn't trust him to actually use shampoo. Enter Fresh Monster. One pump and he has enough for his head. And I can tell he washed his hair because he smells like a watermelon. Plus, I am allergic to a chemical that is in most shampoo (methylisothiazolinone), and Fresh Monster doesn't have it.
