My Kindle looks so awesome! I applied this decal with relative ease and I'm what you would consider a klutz/accident prone/I'm not sure how I make it through a day without hurting myself. I took my time (5-10 min total), used tweezers for the small pieces (not necessary, but helpful), and it looks fantastic. So take your time, make sure in a well-lit area, and work at a table or desk and you'll have no trouble.
This decal in particular is so fun and it's even more impressive in person. The colors are really vivid and the high quality of the decal is obvious as soon as you touch it. I wish it was $5 cheaper (I would have said $10 before I saw the quality), but other than that, I'm very happy.
I flunked cutting and pasting in kindergarten. My manual dexterity hasn't really improved since then. I found this skin (my first) easy to position, reposition, reposition AGAIN, and apply. Despite my clumsiness, the process took less than five minutes. The texture of the skin is pleasant - not slick and slippery. The skin is opaque so my graphite-colored Kindle doesn't affect the picture. I am definitely happy I purchased this, and believe it was well worth the price.
This is a great decal! It fits perfectly and was extremely easy to put on. I found that the material used for it was very easy to stretch if it needs to be (I only had to stretch mine a mm or two to make it fit exactly how I wanted around the screen). The material doesn't feel sticky and you can handle it without getting your fingers stuck to it, but it sticks to the kindle very well and I'm confident it won't start to peel or come off. The giraffe image is super cute too, and I am always getting compliments on it. Great product, and definitely worth the $20, especially since it protects against scratches, something my case did not.
My girlfriend ordered this skin just after getting her Kindle. She chose it for its adorable and vividly colored design. Of course, she made me put it on for her so she couldn't screw it up (that way I get to take the blame). Thankfully, it was very easy to put on: basically, remove a sticker, line it up, place it. If you screw up, you can move it and try again, no problem. The artwork looks even better in person, great print quality. You slightly have to stretch the top of the front piece to cover the screen properly (only a millimeter or so), other than that it fit like a glove. Good stuff. Little pricey for what it is, but it's a great way to personalize your Kindle.
This giraffe decal is absolutely the most adorable motif. The blues, rich brown liven up my white Kindle...a stark contrast very pleasing to the eye...easy to apply...(I did not apply the smaller pieces to forward/backward tabs or to any of the keys including the flat toggle. This provided more contrast.) When using the Kindle away from home, I slip in into the M-Edge capitol navy blue zip around case and the colors blend splendidly. Great purchase. The picture is beautiful and clear with rich colors. The color doesn't fade with sweat from your hands, or gets dirty. However, I am a perfectionist and there's like a 6th of an inch that doesn't cover exactly. But you wouldn't notice unless you are OCD like me. Fantastic buy. Love it very much!!
Love my new Kindle skin. I am known for my love of Giraffes and this skin fits perfectly into my own personality. It was so easy to place and has been noticed several times by passers by as I read in public. I would recommend these skins to any Kindle owner.
I was buying a Kindle for my daughter to use in college. The device was boring looking, so I wanted something that wasn't too girlie, or kiddie, but described my daughter and would make her smile when she saw it. After looking at several, I settled on this one because of the color combinations and the graphics. The delivery time was great, the packaging of the product was well, and applying the product to her e-reader was very user friendly. I liked it so much that I'm looking for a decorative skin to place onto my e-reader.
Got one of these for my wife & daughter's Kindles & they absolutely love the way they look. Great way to personalize your Kindle(s). Not much protection from drops offered with the skin, but maybe they'll make them not only attractive but thicker to protect from drops in the future... Get you one!
