I bought this CINEMOOD movie theatre for my nieces but I just loved the magic atmosphere it creates, so now I'm buying 1 more for myself!
I was a bit concerned about all the negative reviews, but at the same time I've heard from several people great things about it and decided to give it a try.
The projector came in a nicely designed package. I liked the attention to details which turned the unpacking into a pretty pleasant experience. The same would apply to the product quality and accessories in general. IMO the design is pretty slick and the hardware felt pretty well manufactured. No squeaking buttons, no cheap plastic, no unpleasant chemical smell, etc. It definitely feels like a high quality product.
Right after turning it on I was a bit confused with external apps available on the device but then I realized that one actually has to sync the software to get the most recent version of it. Once the update is installed syncing the projector with external apps like Youtube, Amazon prime video and netflix works flawless.
I also really like a mobile app that simplifies navigation while the device is connected to an external streaming app. The mobile app turns a phone in to a touch pad controller for CINEMOOD.
So far I took the projector on a few trips and one of the things I liked about it is its portability. You basically just need WiFi and you can stream your content on the go. No WiFi - no problem, just watch the pre-installed content! Reading content is also a great feature. These books brought some really warm memories from my childhood.
The price is definitely on a steeper side but CINEMOOD is worth the investment!
I have loved CINEMOOD, because it is small, compact, and so convenient for traveling! It's size is perfect because I can literally carry it in my purse, and not to mention it does not take up much space in our small home! I have been trying really hard to limit my daughters screen time, and also avoid phones, tablets, and iPads, because I do not want her to become addicted to them. I also do not want her to have temper tantrums when those items are taken away from her! I think CINEMOOD has been the best alternative. Also, my baby can listen to books, or I can read them using our CINEMOOD, so it rocks for educational purposes! I love that it does not have a blue light, so if we are traveling by plane or car, I do not feel as bad about letting her watch her favorite show, which is Baby Einstein's. She is not really into much as far as shows/movies, so it is nice that she can watch short Baby Einstein clips by streaming them on YouTube. We have talked about getting rid of cable numberous times, and we totally could especially now that we have our CINEMOOD! One of the best features yet is that it does not have commercials, unlike the television! It also has a sleep timer, so when it goes off, my daughter knows it is over, and we are all done! Finally, I love the shadow puppet feature! My daughter is a bit young for this yet, but I think it will be so fun and helpful when she gets older. I am formerly a teacher, so I am always looking for fun ways to work on her fine motor skills!
Decided to give this one a try, since I wanted something to project Youtube, Netflix and Prime shows before bed instead of watching it on the small screen of my phone. I have white walls in my apartment, so I didn't even need a white screen to project on. Have been using it for a little more than a week and I'm pretty happy so far. The video quality is very good and the audio is decent as well.
I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Just didn't want my child to watch TV, tablet or my Iphone!!! After pretty huge research I got my Cinemood like 3 months ago for my baby boy. And I felt in love :) Cute design, very good content! Possibility to connect phone and speakers! works great with youtube and USB-flash card. Endless entertainment. My son is too little to play games on it but we are looking forward for that. Now I purchased another one for my niece birthday. So exited to present it to her!!!

I'm in love with every part of this projector, starting from a great space-themed load screen, to picture quality, to preloaded content and the fact that you can upload your own movies and videos to watch when you're camping! I connected it to my speakers and created a sort of a home movie theater with ease. Keep it up!

I bought this to try to keep my two little ones entertained on a long flight and it worked like a charm! Great content that already comes preloaded (we love all things Disney!) and it is so tiny I didn't have to worry about it taking up too much space amongst all of our other travel items. We streamed a movie in our backyard for a bunch of neighbors as well and it was so fun to add something a little extra to our end-of-summer get together! Highly recommend.
I am obsessed! It is literally so tiny and compact, I love that I can decide to use it anywhere at any time and not worry about bringing any additional cables with me. I thought because of the size the quality may not be great but I was wrong! So clear and you can make it bigger or smaller and adjust the focus as you go. If I wanted to bring it to a friends house I can just stick it in my bag or if we are having friends/family over I can place it on our coffee table and project it onto the wall or sometimes I will watch it on my bedroom ceiling before bed. If there are a lot of people or the room is really big, the sound may not be the best but if you connect it to a Bluetooth speaker or your sound bar you are good to go!
Definitely worth the buy!!
It was my sons 8th bday and we got him this.
It’s pretty cool and we have used it indoors and outdoors. Car rides are so much more fun for them now.
