Case works well as a protective unit for the screen. Doesn't act as a stand put will cover the screen nicely for stowage.
Overall lightweight unit hardly notice it on the tablet.
If you are looking for a very sturdy case that will protect from drops this is not the item. If you are looking for a light case that will cover the screen to protect it from damage when not in use this is the case for you.
Caseable Fire HD 10 Cover for 10" tablets - I am very happy with this cover for my 10 inch Kindle Fire HD. It is fairly versatile. I can fold it so that it rests on a flat surface, raising it just enough to read without holding the Kindle. Or, I can hold it in my hands with the cover flat held nicely behind the back of the Kindle.
Cover performs as expected . When used horizontally, the support is quite sturdy. However, if using it vertically it's not stable and the device must be propped to be secure. The cover protects the screen adequately.
After two Paperwhites, the large Fire is a joy to use. I find myself using the camera more because you don't heve to download from another device. The image is astonishingly vivid and there are lots of apps to choose from.
When I bought my Fire HD Kindle, bought another cover but had to hold the Kindle. Found this caseable and my holding problems are over. Just love it.

We decided to upgrade our 7 so we tried an Apple mini and we still use it but it just don't cut it, so got a Kendal 10 and like it much better the Apple just sits, actually we go back to the old 7 before picking king up the apple
