My cat loves this brand , and it's one of the only brands of food that allows him to form solid nice stools and maintain a nice coat. Most other brands of kibble , wet food, and refrigerated food have given my cat diarrhea and soft stools.
However, my only caution is that I have found pieces of what appears to be blue colored plastic in 2 bags of food that I've ordered over the last 2 months..
I also noticed that they changed up the size of the kibble (it's smaller, flatter, and more condensed looking than what it looked like 3 months ago).
I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue to have my cat eat this food in fear that he might ingest plastic... But after trying several different other cat food brands in the last 2 months my tuxie 's sensitive GI tract appears to tolerate this food the best. Let's hope I don't find anymore strange pieces of foreign objects on my future orders.
I suspect that our beloved animals are like us - they grow accustomed to crappy food and often don't like the healthier items they should be eating when they are introduced. I also think that given all of the fillers in today's feeds it is not surprising why animals develop health issues like cancer. There is NO way animals in the wild would be eating brown rice, gluten and other random items we find in bagged food. I have been giving Maya a food called "Good Life" and she loves it (I have tried various foods over the years depending on the country I lived in). She is picky and often won't eat the "good" foods...but will eat and eat the one from Good Life. It dawned on me that I need to find a better food for her now that we are settled back in the US...so I decided to try this one after trying Nature's Variety, Purina Beyond, and Wellness Core.
She is finicky...and turns her nose up at a lot of foods unlike my other kitty who recently passed away who would eat nearly anything. At first, she seemed to like it when I gave it to her as a snack, but afterwards she quickly turned her nose up and walked away. I decided to combine it with the remaining Good Life food, and once that bag is gone, I will just give her this food exclusively. She needs to lose a little weight, and I suspect this will happen easier once her appetite is regulated given protein is the first ingredient in this food along with other fruits and veggies rather than heavy on the brown rice. I believe this brand is a good food after reading so many labels...I am so glad I found it!!
(Maya looks so content now!)
This is the only cat food our cats eat. One of our cats has IBS and has always had trouble keeping down dry food. She would throw it up, right after eating it. This I and Love and You food is the only dry food that she has been able to keep down. Our other cat was very sick earlier this year and went from 15 pounds to 7 pounds. I credit this food to helping him gain his weight and health back. I am very grateful to have found this food that both of our cats like and have helped make them healthier. I would strongly encourage anyone to try this food for their cats.
We have six finicky cats that have perpetually changing taste buds. Surprisingly, our cats have not grown tired of this formulation. One of our cats will even pick out the kibbles if you blend it with the Blue Buffalo we also feed them. She rates it "purr-fect"^..^ And, enjoys the rabbit version, as well. It would be nice if it came in larger packages, for families with multiple fur babies.
My cats loved this food. I really want them to be healthy and live their best life, so I have been on a mission to change their food to the best quality out there. I really think this food is a great balance between healthy and delicious because it got my picky eaters to be excited for healthy food. I'm a happy cat mom! These are my two cats after eating their first meal with the "I and love and you" brand food, they were so content!
--Tabby cat is 8 years old, 9 lbs.
--Gray and White cat is 7 years old, 18lbs.
--Both are active and are skeptical of healthy brands but had no problem with this one.
Result= 2 happy healthy cats. <3

This really is the best food I've found as a compromise for a weight challenged 7yo and,
a vacuum of all things edible,10 mon old kitten, who eat each others food when they think I'm not looking.
The adult cat started having potty issues bc the co dependent kitten wouldn't let her do anything alone so,
the vet after, $200 of testing, put her on a $40 @ bag cat food that made her pooh look like an alien escaped her bowels.
Ooooh, and it Stunk.
The kitten when we first got her was malnourished & the IandLoveandYou can was the only one she really liked.
So when we finally had enough weight on her, we went ILY dry & she devoured it.
By this time, had forgone the GI vet food, adult cat started eating kitten's food and,
Lo and behold, the ProBiotic helped her get regular in the litter.
She's not losing any weight but it's been months & she's not gaining either.
We take our small victories where we can.
If your cat is constipated, try this before you drop a benjamin at the vet.
Also, Amazon has the best pricing so far.
Store is 6.99 small bag(3.5 lbs) & about 12 for large(6 lbs).
Until the cats get a job, S&S keeps me on a good budget.
We have 10 kitties who have different tastes and preferences. So we mix different types of food together. Also, several years ago there was a huge recall because a common ingredient from China was responsible for a lot of ruined kitty & puppy kidneys - so we always mix different brands just in case a food type is no suddenly longer available.
I fed the kitties their breakfast, and then a couple of hours later, I set down some plates with just this food. All 10 kitties had to come an explore. Well, most of them had to wake up first. All of them tasted it. One wasn't as interested and just watched. The rest showed various degrees of enthusiasm, with a couple of them pushing siblings out of the way. It's been about 15-minutes, and no one has vomited anything up. Yay!
So 9-stars from the kitties!
I think I really like it too! It's good quality (and it stinks, so you know there's a lot of stinky fish in there - yum!) and it's fairly affordable. With 10 cats, food can be expensive, so we get the highest quality we can afford. Luckily this is available with Subscribe & Save, which I've already signed up for.
Both my cats love this food! I originally purchased in a retail store with a buy one get one coupon and my cats were immediately hooked. I did not have to wean their old food at all. They both tolerated an immediate change- sorry guys I ran out and was in a pinch. Moreover, now my cats meow every mourning until I feed them this food- they never did this with any other brand. I purchased the seafood flavor due to their specific tastebuds. Now, I Purchase "I and love and you" through subscribe and save, which is much more convenient and ultimately more cost effective since I save time, effort, gas, and it's delivered at my door!
My Ragdoll LOVES this dry food. She has had the canned food off and on over the years, but this is the first time I tried the dry. Being a finicky eater4, she has a rotation/variety of foods she eats. Maybe she's just spoiled!
Since we travel and the dog and cat come along, it's very important to have food made from good ingredients so there are no surprises along the road or in the RV or a hotel room. I highly recommend this food since she has issues with other premium brands, this seems to use fresh quality ingredients. While I mix her foods and ease her into any change in diet, some foods just never work for her. She gobbled it down so fast I had to ration out the servings or she would eat the entire bowl. She really loves the brands canned food, so it was nice to find the dry food was good her.
Wanted some grain free dry food for my kitty without placing a huge chewy order. The kibble is slightly bigger than grain free Nourish and Blue Buffalo kitten dry food but my kitty gobbled it up straight away... and without the tedious days of mixing
I like the ingredients and I like what's not in it.
