Tiesta Tea, Blueberry Wild Child Blueberry Hibiscus Fruit Tea, 30 Servings, 1.8 oz

Found a yummy tea to match my tumbler! Lol. Seriously this is my favorite fruit/berry tea. First time I’ve tried it. I purchased it as an add on item. What a truly pleasant surprise. I questioned whether I would really get 15-30 servings out of it given the size of the bag, but I’m pleased to say that I measured it out with my teaspoon to be 15 servings so by brewing it twice I will get 30 servings. I brewed mine the full 5 minutes. Obviously as would be expected the second brew is weaker, but I just mix the 2 brews together in the tumbler shown in the pic. I brew 8 ounces of water. I even tried to make a 3rd brew using 6 ounces of water, but the result was dismal. I suppose you could still add it to the first two brews if you like s weaker version, but my granddaughter and I decided not to. Sophia age 8 is living this tea as much as I am. She’s new to loose leaf tea and I’ve now created a little tea monster that my daughter Samantha will have to deal with when I leave. Poor Sam! Seriously folks of you like fruity, aromatic tea then this tea is for you! While I was measuring the tea out by teaspoon Sophia actually asked me if she could use the tea bits as potpourri in her room! It smells divine. I started to tell her that it would be very expensive potpourri, but let’s face it folks there is even more expensive potpourri than what this costs me so yes- you can use it to make your house smell heavenly too! Drink up you tea lovers drink up! I’m raising my purple tumbler to you in a friendly tea toast and please reply to me with the names of your favorite teas and tea makers so that my g baby Fi and I can try them too as well as your favorite kettles, cups, and loose leaf tea holders. FYI: I read a review on here yesterday stating that ALL teabags are held together using polymers that scientists are now trying to determine if those polymers cause cance etc. something along those lines anyways. The reviewer stated that yhst was why they had turned to lease leaf only. As a person who lost both of my parents to pancreatic cancer 22 years apart and has been tested and now knows that I carry an inherited dna gene I urge everyone to begin limiting your exposure and therefore your risk to all things known or suspected to cause cancer. Happy drinking everybody!

Discovered Tiesta a while back once when it was going on close out somewhere, but I love that it mainstreams loose leaf teas and make it approachable for any household. Most people would probably just buy tea bags, but these fun creations and combinations really help people take tea enjoyment to the next level by :
1. teas can come in fun fruity blends
2. teas can be so beautiful with the flowers and the colors that come in the package
3. loose leaf teas taste better than most teas
4. you can make it yourself without going to some high end tea parlor to start out enjoying teas
5. you can add other stuff to each brew to create your own flavors.

Try it out- this can make you a LOT of tea. Caffeine free for a high antioxidant healthy feel if you want that vibe!

I saw a small bag of this in Stop N Shop and had to try it. I have never had such potent herb tea until Wild Child. My first purchase after that was a large bag from Amazon as a one time purchase. I saw it lasting for probably two months despite my two cup a night habit and went on Subscribe N Save!

The flavor is very strong and the color if brewed for 7 minutes is as dark as Cabernet.

I have recently become obsessed with loose leaf tea and made the mistake of going into a Teavana store before they closed. $100 later I came out with delicious fruity teas. I can’t spend that kind of money on tea so I turned to Amazon. I decided to give the Tiesta Tea a go and I was not disappointed! I mostly drink the tea iced with a piece of rock sugar and it is so refreshing on a hot Florida day. I’ve tried the Strawberry Pineapple, Blueberry Hibiscus, and Sweet Watermelon fruit tea. They all were exceptional.

UPDATE: After speaking to a Tiesta customer rep, they were very quick to apologize and make the situation right. I am happy to report that my new tin is exactly as I remember the pouch and will happily order again son! So far I have very much enjoyed all the flavors I've tried and look forward to tasting more!

I originally ordered the small, 1 oz pouch and fell in love with this tea. It was sweet, and blueberry-y and the hibiscus gave it a nice tangy kick. It brewed into a beautiful purplish tea I just loved So I decided to purchase the larger tin this time around. So, imagine my disappointment when my tin arrived and it's entirely apple bits. There are a few wee elderberry and blueberry pieces in there, but no hibiscus in my hibiscus tea. I knew something was amiss when my tea came out a very pale, yellowish pink instead of the pretty blue of before. I would love to give this 5 stars, but I can't based on lack of consistency in the blends...

I'm sipping on my first mug of tea from this, a deep rich wine colored tea that's equally rich in flavor. The blueberry and pomegranate blend beautifully, with the apple giving a bit more body to the finished tea. The other flavors are a nice mix in the background. It's not bitter or overly sweet, a complex delightful blend that's a perfect companion for evenings, a warm blanket, and a good book.

It arrives in a great reusable tin with clear spots along the sides so you know when it's time to reorder! (Soon. Possibly today.)

I used about a teaspoon for a larger mug and the flavor was amazing. This will make a lot of tea!

Edit: I did go back and purchase a one pound bag as well, this is so tasty I don't want to run out. A bag is awesomely large, and still as vivid and bright as the tin, very fun.

I was a little disappointed when I received my package. I thought, for what I paid, I should get a larger quantity. However, according to the label, one package yields 15-30 cups of tea, so I thought, if that was true, then it's not a bad value. Since I like my tea very strong, I thought if I got ten cups, I'd be happy. Then I tried it. I followed the instructions of 1.5 teaspoons per 8 ozs of water. I have a 16 oz french press and so put in 3 teaspoons. It seemed like a small amount and I expected the tea to be a bit weak. I was wrong. It was like a syrupy blueberry juice. I ended up having to dilute it by half. It was still very strong. And very tasty. I also immediately felt a bit of a pick-me-up -- which some herbal teas often do for me. I have a bit of a cold coming on so I'm feeling tired and headachy. I'm going to order a bunch of other varieties.

This is my favorite tea to steep for an iced. Add in a bit of orange blossom honey and it is an amazing complement to the flavors of the tea. It's a staple iced for hot days. I've also added a few springs of spearmint for a twist, as well. The hibiscus is there but muted, for those of us that aren't huge fans. The tartness of the blueberries really come through, as well as the sweetness of the apple pieces and bits to balance it with sweetness. Awesome tea!

I had read the reviews and saw it was a 50/50 on people who like this one. I decided to try it to. I actually enjoyed it. It was very flavorful. The blueberry wasn't over powering. I really enjoyed it a lot.

I was introduced to Tiesta Teas when Jewel had some on a clearance rack. I got three different varieties of herbal tea at super cheap prices and LOVED them all. I even posted a pic of this blueberry variety on Facebook and told my friends they had to try it if they ever came across it! I had never had loose tea so had to wait until I bought a tea ball -- it's a good thing I hadn't tried this stuff before or that wait would have been unbearable!! I had no idea how pricey it is normally, but I finally decided it was worth it to splurge here because it's just that good. The only reason I deducted one star is price NOT flavor. Now I'm waiting for a really good deal on a fine tea infuser that won't leak like the tea ball!
