Just like the one that came with my Silhouette Cameo. I needed a spare and this one was reasonably priced. With care, these mats will last many, many months.
Update to purchasers: If you accidentally cutting through your Cameo mat, which I have done several times, especially when I first started using Cameo.... Fear not, you can quickly (and permanently) fix the problem by applying a strip of Scotch brand, good quality, clear packing tape on the underside of mat where it is cut. Press firmly to make tape adhere. I did this and kept using the new mat for about 6 months to cut cardstock on a daily basis. Using 1 mat for vinyl and 1 mat for paper will make removing items from mat much easier.
The adhesive on these mats is "just right". It's not too sticky as to pull off and ruin material nor not sticky enough to hold your material in place while cutting. This mat also doesn't have an awful odor like the competitions does. I have found that this mat is perfect and buy extras anytime I see a good "sale" going on. I refuse to buy the generic version of these mats, as they do not last as long as the Silhouette brand mat. Spend the extra couple bucks on this and avoid frustration and wasted time, material and money.
It was just as needed. Always work great for me. If they are too sticky, which they are at first, I just tap them lightly with a cloth. I wouldn't recommend using a fuzzy cloth though. I use like a cotton quilt fabric or a denim. But not too much. I also use a card stock on them more when they are new and use an older one for plain paper or it will be too sticky to use for plain paper. I keep the new ones for card stock and then when it's not quite so sticky I keep the more used one for regular paper and then buy a new one again for the card stock and heavier papers.
As this is a necessary part of the Silhouette Cameo, I will use this space to say that I think Amazon's subscription service for the Replacement Cutting Mats is wonderful. When you set up the subscription, you can choose how often you want to receive a new mat. Not only am I saving money (because the subscription price is literally half what I would pay in a craft store) I am also saving the time it would take me to go shop for the pieces I need to papercraft. My new mats will be shipped to me when I feel I need them, no more dealing with being out of stock at the store. Should I ever feel I have too many, I can change how often I receive a new mat. Way to go, Amazon!
This is my third Mat to purchase. I don't love these, but they will work. I use my silhouette every day for different projects and I hate using these pads. When it is brand new and you use it for the first time, you can expect that part of your paper will stick and tear. After a few uses and it loses part of it's stickiness that is when it works best for me. I feel like I don't get very many uses out of it before paper wont stick to it anymore. For now I will keep using these until I find something better.

Idk if it's a bad batch or something but this mat is horrible! The first cut and next handful is cuts also cut straight through the sticky part. When I pulled it off, some of the sticky came with it! Awful! I would return but my return window closed as I had this one on standby as a spare.
Ian learning more about the cutting machine silhouette Cameo2 everyday. These are great mats. They half the paper/card stock etc well during the process. To cut heavier textured product like 80 wt or more new mats are really helpful helpful. To cut lighter weight card stock and papers I recommend using less sticky/older mats. There are actually mats made by silhouette that have less stock to them. It is easy to tear or shape the lighter weights if the mat is too sticky. I save my old mats to do the light weights with. Silhouette makes a great product
I love this specific mat, it is not too sticky. In fact it is the perfect amount to be able to do anything from decal to cutting paper. Great value and much cheaper than buying from Michaels
These mats are incredibly useful, but when you first get them they are WAY too sticky and will often rip apart your paper. I try to use vinyl on it a few times or a card stock that doesn't stick as much so that it wears it out. It also tends to lose it's stickiness fairly quickly so there is a small window of perfect use. I find that even when it's lost most of it's stickiness I can still make it work though. All in all I like it and can usually stretch it's use for awhile before having to buy a new one.
got this as a replacement, my other one has lost all sticky after many uses. this new one seems to be a bit more sticky, I have rubbed a shirt on it and it is still way sticky. I had bought a 12 x 24 mat and it is perfect out of the box not tough to get my vinyl off of.
