We use this for our 30 foot spider web for Halloween. It treats the rope we use to glow under a black light. We usually treat the web every couple years with this dye.
I learned the hard way not to use bleach on silk. My off-white blouse turned an icky yellow. The Rit Whitener worked great and restored the blouse to its original off-white. I had no problems using the Rit Whitener on silk in cold water.
I suppose it worked fine. Not sure I see any difference between this and regular clorox though.
Worked better than expected! My daughter spilled coffee on her white tennis shoes and it caused a stain. She combined the liquid with the powder form to make a paste and it completely removed the stain.
Cleaned up my white mesh J's like they just came out the box. Warm water and a toothbrush is all you need.

For whites that can't be bleached
It worked well.
works great
Wanted to change jean color from Lime Green to Aquamarine, bleached out most of the Lime color. Although the jeans were not completely void of the Lime this product did dye the jeans to a satisfactory Aquamarine.
Bought this to make some stuff glow under a black light that wouldn't normally (in particular, spider web). It did the job well.
