Good product, I highly recommend the Night Owl security system these were add on cameras to my system. They are 720p and have a good clear picture in the dark or in the day. The color in the day is good and the black and white night image is clear up to the 30 feet that my camera watches. They come with everything needed to attach to your system with 60' of cable. I do find the attachment screws supplied to be very cheap and they break and the head strips very easily and I mean very easily so be careful when using these screws or just take good quality stainless screws up the ladder with you in the first place.
Wow what a difference there is between 1080 and 720. I replaced my 720 with one of these and the view angle opens up like no other. Unfortunately, this makes me regret buying the 720 in the first place and I'm thinking about replacing all of my current 720 cameras with these 1080.
needed to add a camera and since most of the single camera pkgs don't come with cable and power adapters , bought this pkg with 2 cams, 2 cables and a/c adapter...works pretty well but the housing is made of plastic with a small hood molded into the housing unlike my original aluminum units with substantial removeable aluminum hoods....personally, should have been less expensive considering the quality but it does it's job (at least for now)
Definitely not the best system out there but for the money you can't beat Night Owl. Customer service is lacking and our DVR died just after the warranty period. Picture quality is decent. Their app is the biggest piece of crap though. If it manages to sync with your DVR over the network, it will most likely "forget" the DVR system and you'll have to setup the app from the beginning all over again.
I agree with previous reviewers that add-ons are not metal,but all plastic body.But so far (3+ months) they hold up good.
The quality of the picture,especially sharpness and detail seem to be better. The pivoting system also differs between old metal and add-on plastic cameras - that is the main reason I give them a 4 star review. Original cameras have a pivot ball, which made rotating and adjusting all of the cams a simple, one minute task. Adjusting and pointing where you want the NEW ones was an issue, cause they have a different , all plastic 3 axis mountain brackets. It took about 30 minutes to set each in place! The main problem was - once you got the camera to point at where you want it and start securing it, it shifts!

Changed out my 720p cameras to these 1080p, love the wider view and sharper image.
Cameras have a very clear picture in day and night, have nice wide view.
The clarity of this camera is excellent and the sound range is much better than advertised.
I added 4 additional cameras to the 4 I already had. Cameras work good, I had to get a different dvr as my older model wouldn’t accept the newer cameras. All in All I’m pleased but don’t try to get customer support to help you. 1, they can’t understand English, 2 they haven’t a clue about their product. Better off calling the next door 3rd grader.
