I am an active crossfit athlete. I go 5-6 days a week and workout multiple sessions at a time some days. These shorts are the perfect length, loose but not awkward with extra material. I've ditched all my shorts slowly as I'm slowly changing over my active wear to the shorts and pants offered by Mission. Yes a tad pricey, but well worth the money. They are great for regular use as well; big pockets. Definitely a repeat customer.
I ordered these for my husband who really is lacking in the shorts department. He's got denim shorts and some fleece shorts that are really more suited to sleepwear or lounging around the house, but he was lacking a good pair or workout shorts. The feel of these shorts alone will give you an indication of their quality. Though lightweight, they are sturdy and well made. They are long enough at the leg that he feels comfortable wearing them out of the house, and loose enough that he doesn't feel like he's wearing biking shorts that define what's underneath too readily.
He says that the shorts stay cool in the heat and are comfortable to move around in. Front pockets as well as a zippered back pocket make these versatile enough to work out or run errands in. And honestly, they look good on him too.
These shorts fit me very well and we're too loose and baggy like some workout shorts I have. Even though they seem more "fitted", they don't restrict motion during an in-gym workout or a run. The fabric is soft to the touch.
Just be aware that these shorts don't include a second "liner layer"... so if you think someone's going to looking up your shorts, then I recommend a tighter-fitting boxer underneath.
Great shorts. It's too cold right now to give them a full workout, but I wore them while walking my inside path, and they kept me dry and cool. The pocket is handy so I didn't have to carry along my backpack/purse - and zips so I don't have to worry about losing anything.
Ordered these shorts as I was looking for more fitting shorts as Nike still makes shorts from 2008 length.
The fit is great, not too long, fabric is light. No issues there.
Had my first workout in them today when they arrived. Saw a few comments abt wicking away sweat. Ran today and the crotch/ butt had sweat marks abt 40min after the workout. Looks like I peed my pants. Thought these were quick dry, vapor active etc.

Made of a stretchy but substantial fabric, more dense than flimsier, cheaper training shorts I own. Their slogan that it's built for speed seemed a little foolish, but having received them I see several design features that makes this a serious claim. The waistband is extra wide and elasticized and in addition has an inner lace to tie to further secure it. Whether an active workout like running or tennis or doing heavy squats with weights, these shorts stay in place without drifting downward. The cut is actually more tapered than I expected but still allows ample freedom of movement without binding or feeling confined, but also without feeling sloppy or overly loose. It's not lined but the cut is sufficiently slim as mentioned, that you won't risk embarrassing exposure no matter what you choose to wear under it, or nothing else. It does wick sweat well so keeps me cool. The pockets are generously sized in case you want to stash some tennis balls there or a music player. There is one zippered pocket in the back that has an unusual angled opening that's smaller but will hold a small wallet or money clip you prefer not to leave in your gym bag. Overall, this is the nicest workout shorts I now own and I expect them to last a long time if laundering directions are followed.
