I had a previous leather case from MarBlue that I absolutely loved. While this is not of the same quality, it is still a very good cover. I especially like the strap that allows me to not only keep the case closed, but also to keep it open with having to constantly press against it. My only disappointment was that I could not find the same case that I had for the Fire 6.
This is a nice case, very slim, simple, and functional. I bought it to protect the screen a bit and to use it as a stand. However, I did drop my Fire HD in the case, about 18 inches onto a wood floor, and the two corner pieces on the bottom shattered. So, it's not very durable, but for $12 it's not much of a loss. The case still works, but the fit is not as snug as it was, so it will need replacing at some point.

Fabulous. Fits, protects and lasts
It does the job but I prefer the old Mareware leather style. This is flimsy and scratches easy. It doesn't stand very easily either. It's slim so it fits in a bag nicely but not the best cover for those who always have it on the go.

Fits well and allows me to "stand up" my kindle on its side on just about any surface. Would recommend!
