It was easy to apply, but I discovered lint in a couple of places after I had pressed it into place with a credit card to smooth the air bubbles away. Air bubbles form around specks of lint. I had used a good microfiber cloth to clean the screen but got the lint specks anyway. I tried pulling it up and getting rid of the specks, but that just added more specks. So I called it good and turned on the device. The anti-glare feature made it look really worthwhile, and with the brightness of the HDX screen I really couldn't see those little bubbles around the lint, so all is well. My only complaint is that since the anti-glare feature is so necessary, why don't the screens come already anti-glare like the old Kindle? The screen of the HDX Fire is like a cell phone screen. It doesn't work in sunshine. The price of this product is not much. You may want to have a couple of extras on hand in case you mess up the application of the first two.
This screen protector works great...once you get it on. This screen has a #1 sheet which is the actual screen protector and a #2 sheet which acts as a cover to ease the application process. Applying the sheet was a bit tricky due to the need to align the wholes properly. However when I attempted to take the protective sheet off the screen started to come off too creating bubbles. I had previously smoothed out all bubbles before attempting to take off the #2 sheet and ended up with big bubbles once I got it off. I was able to get the new bubbles out after smoothing them with my thumb and the enclosed cloth. I was able to apply it, but it was a little frustrating.

this screen protector is GREAT for the kindle, cuts down glare at all angles (and also prevents smudges if that is a problem - it annoys the crap out of me)

I am over the moon about this screen protector, and I'm going to look out for their brand in the future.
Why?
Because it was a lot less flexible than most screen protectors. It was thicker, and as a result, was WAY easier to apply than any I've used before on any device. I applied it in mere moments, and it had much less bubbles to clear out than the thinner, flexible ones.
Came with three thin films. Getting secured on the kindle without air bubbles is near to impossible. I will say though, I am glad to have it covering my kindle as my grandchildren play games and always have sticky fingers, or had their fingers in their mouth and then touched the screen. It cleans up nicely.

Application Instructions: 1. Use the cleaning cloth (provided) to thoroughly clean the display. 2. Peel off the corner of the BACK outer layer (Tab 1). 3. Align the exposed corner edge with the corresponding edge of the device display. 4. Slowly peel away the rest of the BACK outer layer (Tab 1) from underneath. Make sure the screen protector remains aligned with the display. 5. As you peel away the BACK outer layer (Tab 1), run your fingers along the top of the FRONT outer layer (Tab 2). 6. Slowly peel back the corner of the FRONT outer layer (Tab 2) until you peel it completely off. 7. Use the applicator card (provided) to smooth out any air bubbles. For best results, push the bubbles away from the center of the display. 8. Use the cleaning cloth (provided) to wipe away any remaining fingerprints or smudges. 9. **NOTE** some small air bubbles may require 24 hours to disappear.
I needed a new anti glare screen for my Kindle Fire! This product does the trick. Especially when my 3 year old grand daughter uses it to watch YouTube. This is a great protection not only for the glass, but, it cleans up very well.
Having replaced the screen protector on my smart phone many times, I thought I was familiar with difficulties that come with applying such. Yes, I'm glad they sent two. After botching up first one...(several attemps, resulting in lots of lint-where did THAT come from?) got smart and checked other reviews for tips and the web site. Second one went on per instructions (and tips from others), did great, looks good, I'm happy.
Easy to install - good thing, no instructions with it. Works well. However, it is just teensy bit too long so there are bubbles at the bottom of the face. Fortunately the bubbles are outside the screen area and do not interfere with the operation or what is seen.
I like this item. However I still get some glare when a light is shining on the screen. It was real hard to install without air bubbles. I do like the feel of the screen and it does stay cleaner then others. Also the children don't try to use their nails on it like the last one I had.
I am very happy with this screen protector for my new Kindle Fire HDX. I can't imagine using a technical device without a screen protector. Fingerprints are easily wiped off with soft cloth and a bit of water. I've had and used this for about 6 weeks. It puts my mind at ease with all the touching a Kindle requires....
