I will not wear even moderately heavy earrings without these anymore. This takes all of the strain off the hole and distributes it over the back of the earlobe. It's basically a medical tape sticker that goes on the back of the ear over the hole, then you punch the earring through the sticker.
While you could absolutely cut pieces of medical tape and use that, you will spend far more time doing that than you will save in money. It's just not worth the hassle.
These are pre-cut and absolutely worth it. They are also almost invisible. If someone is close enough to see them, they'd better be your hair stylist or your SO! One box is a month's worth if you use then every day so they go a long way. If you are a fan of the lobe-stretching type of earrings, or jsut have a pair that makes your holes sore by the end of the day, give these a try.
Have struggled with not being able to wear dangly earrings for quite a few years as my ear piecing hole has stretched out. Purchased these for the first time two years at the advice of an old college friend and have been using them ever since. I keep them at home, in my luggage and in my makeup bag. They really do a great job. I can wear pretty much any type of earrings I want. I will say that I only suggest this brand. My husband ordered me another type with a groupon recently and they fall right off and don't give you the support you need to hold the weight off of your ear.

I've always worn long earings, I'm a jewelry maker, even some of my own pieces were getting hard to wear and I would be in pain by noon. Now, no more of that! They also keep them from drooping after your ears have held heavy earing's for too many years. Ive heard about these for a long time, I'm just wondering what took me so long to try them out? They have a sticky back on them, you put them on the back of your earlobes, push the back of the earring through and like magic it holds them up and no drooping! So happy about these. I will never be without them again. Any doubts, put them to rest and get them... THEY WORK!
I have been using these since a co worker pointed out that my earrings were sagging! Yuck! Nothing says getting older like a stretched earring hole. Stick these babies to the back of your ear and voila, problem solved! You can wear them for a few days but then it is best to remove them and wash or swab the back of your lobe with a cotton pad dipped in alcohol, to remove residual adhesive.

One of my earlobes, unfortunately, has an elongated hole which made it impossible for me to wear a lot of different styles of earrings. I'm so thrilled with these patches because they have made it possible for me to wear any style earring without worry.

Years ago, I tore the recent piercing in my left ear, and while it isn't torn completely I do have to be careful. I use Lobe Wonder every day so that I can wear the earrings that I love without this problem getting worse. These things saved my ears! I have one very stretched piercing which has maybe only a millimeter of skin between the bottom of the hole and the bottom of the ear lobe. These let me wear heavy earrings again without worrying about the weight and make sure that my earrings are both at the same height, as only one of my ear piercings is stretched (with lobe wonders, you can put the earring through the top of the hole instead of having it rest at the bottom). Loved these so much I sent a package of them to my Mom.
I love these little disc for your ear lobes. My ear lobes are so thin and the holes have stretched to where my earrings could eventually tear the pierced lobe, but then I found these disc and I have been wearing them everyday since. They are wonderful!!!! you place the disc on the back of the lobe of your pierced lobe, press the sticky side of the clear disc on the lobe, then push through your wire earrings or post earrings. Your earrings will hang correctly and will look great and not like they are about to come through the thin skin of your lobe. Now I wear heavier earrings because the disc give such support to the lobe. I will be buying these things forever! Love them and wouldn't be with out them!!!
