I bought this ice maker for my basement since summer is coming soon, and because our fridge has a door ice maker that doesn't make or hold much ice. I will definitely need one for when it gets hot outside. After seeing all the reviews, I decided give this a try. It arrived in 2 days and it comes packaged nicely. I tried it out as soon as I got it. It is made of nice stainless steel and the build quality is good. I was quite impressed with the ability of this machine and the quality of ice it made. This ice maker is so quiet and produces ice really quick. I calculated out the time and how much it was producing and it makes about a pound an hour and drops 9 cubes roughly about every 10 minutes, very very pleased! Two cubes sizes of the cubes are all I need. It is very simple to use and easy to clean. It is small enough to be portable and can be moved around freely. It definitely fits my summer and party needs.

 Really impressed with this little machine. First of all, I love the portable size, It is just bigger than my desktop speaker. More importantly, it works right from the box. NOTHING to install, all I need to do was plugging the cable and adding drinkable water. It will make ice every 3-5 minutes, so, give it 30 minutes you should have a decent amount of ice in the bucket. The ice cube has a bullet-like shape. One thing I do realize is that the fan will blow out some heat from inside. Overall, nothing to complaint. Love its size and the cool ice.

My refrigerator doesn’t have an ice maker so I bought this ice maker. The summer is coming, it is very convenient for me. It’s good for the party. The instructions are very detailed. The operation is very simple. Operating the ice maker only needs to adjust the size and fill the water. The machine will remind you that you need to add water. The process of making ice is very quiet and fast. But the first time it takes to make ice needs more time. The maker is heavy but not too big. It’s good size for my kitchen.

I purchased this ice cube maker for my brother‘s ice cream store. Since he constantly needs ice, I gifted him this. It creates 28 pounds of ice in 24 hours. As he’s working, he can use it as well since it’s quiet. When the compartment is full or if the water is running out it would make a sound, to let him know. Once it’s done making the ice the machine will automatically turn off so it saves energy. My brother loves it and finds it very helpful since he used to make all the ice with ice molds and he would have to constantly refill it and it took up more time. Him and his employees can definitely work faster now, not having to worry about ice.

When I start to cook breakfast,I also put some water into ice maker,and then press the button. It woks. I just let it go! Because I have to use a box of ice for my baby’s lunch bag. And my son and daughter need some into their water bottles! It makes a little voice during the work time, but not too much! This being Arizona, and especially in the extreme heat of the summers, we use a lot of ice. However, we live a small apartment with an ancient fridge, so we have to go and buy bags of ice all the time. And that frustrates me because the freezer is so small, and those bags of ice take up too much space, I can't stock up on freezer items or freeze extra meals for work.

I finally had enough and I started to research these counter ice makers. I actually had another set aside on my wish list for almost a month. When I went to purchase it, I realized that no warranty was offered with it. So I deleted that and on my day off, I read reviews and compared ice makers. I was very specific about the price range, that I could afford, it had to have a warranty and proper reviews. In the end, I kept coming back to this Kealive ice maker. I looked at some 20 machines and again, the Kealive ice maker was the front runner. So I finally bought it!

It arrived in a timely manner, and it was very well packaged. It is a perfect size, and can be moved anywhere. I makes a lot more ice than I expected and the 2 sizes of ice are perfect. We started by making a small batch, making two small bags, that do not take up a lot of space in that little freezer. Best of all for me, I use a water bottle with a narrow neck and l had to crush ice with a hammer so they would go into that bottle! This ice maker makes perfect cylindrical ice cubes that I can slip into that bottle, no hammering no mess!

The ice maker came with a card to extend the warranty and their Customer Service Team, responded quickly and added that on to my item.

I am so pleased with this ice maker and I look forward to this summer and cold drinks. The only complaint, is I wished I'd found it and bought it sooner!

 I bought this ice maker because I didn't have an ice machine in my restaurant anymore. I had to sell the old ice maker because the ice cubes were coming out crushed and the customers didn't like it. Now with this ice machine it's not the same. It produces a lot of ice every day, and it isn’t clumped, it’s always fresh. We need and use a lot of ice in the summer. Now with this machine I don’t need go buy ice anymore. This product helped me save a lot of money

I love this machine. It makes ice very quickly. Very quiet. It's not a freezer, so it doesn't keep the ice for you. You have to store the ice in a freezer elsewhere. That may be a game breaker for some, but not for me. You just poor water into it. It holds about a half gallon or so. It makes all of that within a couple hours.

Revised 5/18: While the excessive beeping is annoying, this machine has changed my mind and my life. My landlord left out ice makers, so I had to expend a lot of energy with ice trays. Problem solved!

Original: The constant beeping mentioned in other reviews is forcing me to put this in the trash .Make no mistake, there is no stainless steel. It’s grey plastic, as are the bucket and scoop. I got lucky that it matched my grey backsplash perfectly. It arrived in perfect condition and is running its first load. It was $113.99. Disposable if I get a few months of service.

Rev. 5/13: This is still fine. It’s quick and reliable. It beeps too much, and the ice is towards the wet and hollow side. My fridge has no ice maker, and the freezer is on the bottom. Bending over pains me. I drink a lot, so this has changed my life. It would be unlikely that I alone could drink fast enough to run out of ice.

Rev. 5/14: The beeping is out of control. This is for the trash heap. I’m going to toss it out today. There is no way to reset it, even by unplugging.

Super easy to use! I love this upgraded model of the countertop ice machine. The stainless looks sleek and blends in well with my appliances. I currently don’t have an ice maker in my fridge and with a family of four, often find myself without ice. A lover of iced coffee—this was a major bummer to me. Now I fill up the reservoir with water and am good to go in about 10 minutes. The maker hums a bit but that doesn’t bother me. The reset button works great if you need it. Best of all—it's the type of cubes I love! I totally recommend this.
