I waited a little while before I started reviewing this product because I needed to see its performance overtime since it's a big appliance.. Well, the result was satisfying. I used it for baking cookie, roasting turkey, and did a simple broil and all worked as it should.
The main reason I bought this is because of its look. But with these cheaper ones I always worry about the performance since they are the main purpose of appliances. This one works out as it should. No issues.
We are happy to have a correctly-functioning oven after living with a lousy one for many years, and we definitely were attracted to the low price of this one. It is a thrill to have the zucchini bread turn out right at last.
The instructions were vague, obviously translated. Door installation! - quite obscure, but the YouTube video helped a lot. If you buy, don't cut the hole until the thing gets there! The dimensions listed here are wrong. The booklet enclosed gives different measurements. I measured the actual oven and got a third set of measurements (smallest so far).
This oven only comes with one rack. I've scoured the internet for replacement racks that fit, and so far, nothing. I called the company store in California, and they say they have them but they are out. Standing by for that.
Another quirk - temperature can be set in increments of 9 only! Regular bake setting can't go over 396 degrees. Clock can only display military time, and needs to be reset every few weeks because it drifts.
My cabinet guy actually told me not to order this brand because he heard many bad experience from it, but I couldn't resist the look so I though I would give it try. Luckily, Empava did not disappoint me.
For one, this oven looks spectacular! (Of course, that's why I bought it)
Then for the installation, I didn't do it, but the electrician only charged me one hour for it so I assume it's rather simple.
Last, the performance. I was deliberately cooking foods from this oven. I used 3 times so far, all of them came out as I wanted.
So I guess my conclusion is that Empava does make decent product.
I like that this is relatively inexpensive, but has basically all the bells and whistles of the models you find in appliance stores. One downside is that it CAN take a bit of time to heat up to your desired temperature, so pre-heating is a must. Or maybe I just got spoiled on my last oven, which heated up so fast that pre-heating was a complete waste of time and electricity. Either way, this unit has a thermostat in it so you can always tell if it has reached a “close enough” temperature for you to put in whatever dish you are baking. No more waiting for a buzzer!

Great quality! We've been using it for a while now. The features are great and it uses less electric. The sleek modern design is just wonderful! I absolutely recommend it.
Excellent oven overall. The only issue that I have ( or that matters to me ) is that this unit uses 220v and our house don't have 220v. We ended up hiring an electrician to pull another line to our kitchen but it did cost us another $200, the rest of the part was perfect.
Beautiful oven. Installed with no issue!
