I bought two of this items for Xmas, one for me and one as a gift for my sister. For me I chose Decalgirl Kindle Touch Skin - Goth Forest and for my sister I bought Decalgirl Kindle Touch Skin - Flower of Fire. They both look amazing and they both fit perfectly in the kindle. The colors are very vibrant and simply beautiful. The underside of the stickers seems to be vinyl, yet the stickers i got are matte. It comes with a paper with instructions on how to apply it, but i would suggest that you watch the video tutorial on the item's page, is a lot more descriptive than the three step page.
A comment, when applying the sticker to the kindle do not stretch it, I did this at first without noticing and the shape of the sticker distorted a bit and wasn't fitting correctly. I took it out and re-applied it without to much pressure or stretching it and it fit like a glove. On the plus side, i can vouch that the glue is great and didn't lost any power after the first removal, nor did it left anything behind. I do have to say that it does not cover the kindle from corner to corner. You receive a front and a back sticker, the sides of the kindle remain uncovered.
Warning this are stickers not a scratch proof cover. If you want protection for your kindle this is not it. However, they are great for personalizing them and identifying them if (like in my case) there is more than one kindle in under the same roof.
This DecalGirl skin came as advertised and I am happy with my purchase. The skin is an opaque, matte-finished adhesive sticker that is similar to electrical tape. It was fairly simple to apply to the front and back of my Kindle Touch and the cut-outs matched up perfectly. Those in the market for this particular skin should be primarily interested in its aesthetic appeal. If you find the Kindle's gray a tad dull and boring, DecalGirl offers some nice options for you to change things up a little. Bear in mind, however, that this skin offers little protection beyond anything more than fingerprints and light surface scratches. Further, the skin does not completely cover the device and leaves the outside edge exposed. So it won't be of much help should you drop your Kindle. Therefore I would still invest in a case or sleeve. Having said that, the design of this skin is exactly as depicted and I love how it looks on my Kindle!
This is the second Kindle skin I have bought since purchasing my Kindle Touch a couple of years ago. There was absoluately nothing wrong with the first skin, I was just ready for a new look. They are not reusable so that is why the 4 star rating instead of a 5.
This is absolutely beautiful! I was a little hesitant at first when I ordered it because of the product description, but im glad I got for my kindle touch. It's easy to apply and only takes a few minutes and a steady hand.
Was easy too put on and love how it personalized my Kindle. Even though my Kindle is in a case, you can still see the front border. And it looks so good! Very colorful.
