Directing this review to 5D Diamond Drill enthusiasts.

I purchased this (3 actually as I work on different pieces at the same time).

I am submitting my review after 2 weeks of using this system for a very large full square drill piece

XL Paint With Diamonds Full Kit - "Rain Princess" - 50x75cm PWD Premium DIY Diamond Painting Kit For Adults With Full Toolkit - 100% Full Drill 5D Square Diamond Painting

The piece has 60,000 drills and this storage solution had room for all 40 colors separated with one extra unused large box.

To address the reviews that sequins or seed beads fall out I can only say if one is not careful that the lid is fully closed this could happen. Drills are extremely small and I've noticed that putting pressure on the lid not squarely in the center can leave a gap where drills or beads can 'escape'. When I take care to check the lid is closed I've not lost a single drill before replacing the container in the tray

Addressing the comments about the labels 'not sticking' or 'sub par' I believe the intent of the tack is so that there isn't leftover goo when one needs to remove and change the label for new contents. Yes they aren't Gorilla Glue stuck on but for my use and intentions I like the easily removable stickers when it's time to change the color number.

For those who say they can't tell the item because the label is on the bottom please see my solution in the picture. Clear Dymo tape with the item (or in a 5D Diamond world) pattern code on the side. I do use the color on the bottom in case I run low on a drill but this to me was an easy peasy way to see what I need to work with and know what I have need for without any fuss at all.

The lids snap tightly when done correctly and has made 5D painting SO much more enjoyable. For those 1 square spots the opening is more than large enough to get the ones or twos you need without having to pour into a tray.

The fact that one can order separate containers or as in my case has extra containers that can be swapped out between projects or if a replacement is needed is a major bonus

My filling for at 60,000 square diamond drill project found that my largest quantity of color - 9798 drills - fit into 2 XL containers with room to spare.

3630 square drills filled a large container without being too tight to close the lid securely

1117 square drills put into the small container was a bit too much so they went into a medium container as did any drills above that amount. I would suggest 900-ish for a small

Based upon those amounts you can estimate how many drills will fit in the XS containers and up.

In my opinion forget the small box inside a pencil container and buy a zipper pencil case for your trays and a small box for your tack and pens/tweezers...get this system for sorting your diamond drills and you'll be in great shape.

Wow! This system is incredible. I have been re-organizing my crafting and sewing rooms, and have done "painstaking" research on the best ideas for storage of all sorts of things. For the most part I can turn to crafter extraordinaire Jennifer McGuire for all my crafting organizational needs, and have utilized her ideas for stamp/die storage and embossing powder storage, but didn't like her sequin storage idea (she uses Craft Mates Lockable Organizers). I wanted something that would take up less space and be easier to move from place to place, as I have a stupidly huge amount of sequins. So my search began!

I came across a lot of things that seemed "okay," but I really didn't want to settle on something just because I couldn't find the "perfect" solution. Then I came across the Darice Bead Storage System. I was skeptical at first regarding the size of the "tiny" containers, but thought I could always purchase the larger containers if needed. So, I ordered the 82-piece system hoping this would be everything I hoped - IT TOTALLY IS!!! My sequins fit perfectly in the tiny and small containers, and the lids of each container feel super secure. The trays take up so little space on my shelves, and they look so pretty filled to the brim with sparkly colors! :)

I was a little worried about how I would be able to glance at the little containers and know what sort of sequin was inside, and because the tiny containers are so tiny, there's really no room to write size, color and type of sequin within; I decided that I'd just glue a single sequin on the outside of each container so I'd know literally at a glance which sequins were within. I used a dot of Ranger Glossy Accents and a pair of tweezers to attach the little things, which was actually kind of a relaxing task. The only annoyance I had moving my sequins to the containers was due to static cling. I grabbed a dryer sheet and some Magic Static Remover, and it helped some, but it still wasn't a scream-free process, but this has nothing to do with this system.

I apologize for this review being so long-winded. I tend to gain speed in rambling when I start typing. Here's a short review:
This product works amazingly well for sequins! :)

I recently got into diamond painting and had been searching for the right storage for all the color drills (beads) that are needed per picture.
I had been using weekly pill organizers but when I needed 42 different colors for my most recent picture, that's when I got serious about finding something.
While this was more than I initially intended to spend, this tray holds twice as many different colors than most options out there specifically marketed at diamond painters and is super durable.
Each container is a nice clear plastic (not bendable and not cloudy plastic) with a very strong lid that clicks locked and the tray itself has a locking lid so you can work on top of the lid or stack another tray on top.
I purchased the tray with the 82 tiny containers but I could see myself possibly buying some small for future projects that may have a lot of one color that won't all fit in one tiny container.
The tray comes with labels but they are intended for the bottom of each container so you can't see the label when looking at the containers straight on.
I had some clear address labels and cut them down and wrote on them with a sharpie so I can reuse the container without having to use acetone or my fingernail to scratch away my writing.
I am super happy with this tray and would highly recommend it to anyone who makes bead art or diamond paints>

I really love this bead storage system. I've been a beader for over 20 years and was always frustrated with my efforts thru the years to sort and organize my growing collection of beads. This system has solved all my problems. Since I've found these available, ive bought over 32 sets. They're all full. I organize my seed beads by color in each tray, then a tray for crystals, etc. After I had spent all this money on organization I needed a way to organize my trays. So I contacted a welder who built a system to hold the trays.

I ordered the tiny tray, the assorted size tray, and the empty tray for all of my Diamond Painting supplies and I could not be happier with these trays. They stack as well and are perfect. There are a lot of cheaply made storage containers out there for this hobby and for beads and nothing tops these. They are perfect, easy to use and very durable. I recommend these to anyone with any beading hobbies or diamond painting hobbies. They are excellent.

If you have ADD, you know that "out of sight is out of mind." That is totally my problem, and the reason why my beads have gone untouched when I store them in drawers.

This is the perfect solution! You can see everything you have, and easily access it. The individual containers are easy to remove and open (to open, a strong fingernail helps). I never feel that my beads are going to leak, even little 15/0.

I got three of these trays when I realized how helpful they would be. I was able to organize my stash so I could see what I needed for some holiday gift projects, which certainly made shopping for supplies easier. I have a fourth tray of just the mini containers, too.

The labels on the bottom are a great organizational aid too! Mark where you got those beads as you're putting them away, and you'll never have to rack your brain. Make sure you place the labels closer to the left edge of the containers, close to the squared-off corner rather than the rounded corner on the right. They might peel up a little bit on the rounded part. I just stick the labels back down on the rounded part if they come up, and so far, they haven't peeled further.

I have 5 of these so far! I love these. You can put 10 grams of seed beads in the small containers. 15/0, 11/0, 8/0, superduos, tiles, cabochons, strings of candy beads. Most Czechmates in the quantities you buy, 8 - 10 grams, will fit just fine in the small containers. Bigger tubes of 24 grams split into two of the smallest containers or one of the medium ones. I mostly peel and stick my tube labels on the containers but some beads I need to write down the names and the provided labels work well for this. I do cut the labels down to just the lined portion. I put my labels on the backs of the containers so I can see my beads rather than read what they are. I think it's better for designing and putting together your projects. Bottom line, I love these!!!

I purchased this for my dogs rather large collar collection. Actually I purchased 2. I was originally going to purchase the empty case and fill with the separate med boxes (different listing) the size I thought would work best. But I found this "multi" piece set at my local walmart and decided to give it a try first. It came with 14 "tiny", 16 "small", 10 "med", and 3"large" containers. After trying out different collars in different sized containers I was able to fit my full prints collection into 2 - 45 piece sets. Now I can see her collection and get out what I need easier than having them in a large plastic bin.

The boxes remind me of tic tac containers. Thats the best way to describe them. I love the difference sizes. The little lids lock down well to ensure that the contents do not spill out and are easy to open. The big storage case lid locks on to the base with 2 rubber handles (one on each side) and feesl very secure and does not allow the boxes to move within the container. I then slide the entire container in to my drawer and then no more large bin sitting in the corner.

I can't say enough good things about these. Also I found that hair ribbons (From grooming appointments), sd (camera) cards and tiny mementos fit well into the "tiny" containers so I filled up the empties quickly. My Lucy's first hairbow from the groomer is stored in the top one.

Yes I am a crazy dog mom and so happy I found these as a storage solution for my dogs collars. Her collars range from 6-10 inch length and 8-14 inch length (Brands yellow dog design, lupine, walmart, top paw, grreat choice and similar) and vary between .375 inch wide to 5/8 inch wide. All fitting in various boxes well. Even faux leather ones roll up and will go in lg containers.

My beads have been stored in various storage containers inside a rolling cart. Whenever I would decide to bead it was a pain to find everything. I would have to haul everything out just to see all my supplies. I decided to take a chance on the Elizabeth Ward bead storage trays. I started with both the 45-piece tray and the 82 piece tray. I love them equally. I added two more of each in order to organize my beads. Now they stack nicely and sit perfectly on a shelf where they take up less space than before. It was time consuming re-organizing my bead collection but it's worth all that effort in the end. Plus, it's beautiful to look at. I now know that beading will be a joy in the future since I can see everything I have at a glance. I would give this system 10 stars if I could!!

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I was in desperate need of a better way to organize my beads. The regular containers you buy in various stores are great for beads you have large quantities of or larger beads, but certainly not very space efficient when you have lots of smaller beads. Space is something I find in short order. I spent a lot of time comparing various storage solutions and prices..almost to the point of driving myself crazy. I am very pleased with my decision on this product and already plan on purchasing a second one.

This storage organizer is absolutely great. You can see the beads clearly and the containers have a nice size opening, which makes filling them pretty easy, compared to other similar products. This product has really helped me not only organize but save a lot of space in my extensive collection. I will be buying more in the future.

Two downsides - the first is that a few of the individual containers had defects on one side and could not be used for small beads. Almost like a melting effect at the closure end. The second is the clear cover that secures via the folding handles. I really wish these were more secure. Although it does close, it doesn't truly "lock" or "snap" in a way that gives me the warm and fuzzies about its ability to remain close if tilted or picked up from the wrong side.
