I ordered the Formula 1 Red version of the Built Sleeve for Kindle Fire...and all the positive reviews you read are pretty spot on. The sleeve combines a handsome, sporty exterior with a plush interior and keeps the Kindle dust and dirt free when not in use. Also, you have to either shake or deliberately try to pull the Kindle out of the sleeve...if handled normally, the Kindle will not fall out if the sleeve is handled upside down. Just don't pinch it at the bottom! However, I noticed something that bothered me, and this brings me back to the bottom of the Built Sleeve: If you're planning on sitting the Kindle upright in a backpack, for example, the bottom will expand. Or "bottom out," in other words. The Built sleeve is not precisely contoured to the shape of the Kindle fire, so there's about 1/2 inch or so of extra neoprene at the bottom. This is not a problem if you're storing the Kindle horizontally, but it could result in mashing or creases if storing the Kindle upright in a bag. Just something you might want to consider, depending on how you're going to transport your Kindle on an everyday basis. Overall, not a bad product by any means, and these Built models are probably the best looking sleeves available...they look JUST LIKE what you see pictured. I just would have preferred a tighter fit at the base.
It's a good sleeve but I ended up preferring a book style cover. This feels more like a bag with no handles. The fabric is of excellent quality though.
I was pretty impressed with the product, very simple case designed for someone that is a minimalist and pretty careful handling electronics. I hate putting bulky cases on electronic products that are sleek. I would say my favorite part if the plush lining, I've noticed it helps to keep the screen clean. I wish it had a extra pocket built into it for storage of headphone, cables etc. Ignore the reviews saying that the kindle is hard to take out of because it's too tight of a fit, I had no problem with this and thought it was perfectly snug enough.
I needed a slim profile protective sleeve for my Kindle Fire. This sleeve is Nicely padded and lined with a soft fabric. The Fire will come out if you hold the sleeve upside down, hold it in a manner that ensures you aren't touching the Fire and encourage it with a shake. I pay attention to the orientation while I'm carrying it, but it isn't so loose I really worry about it. It functions as promised.
I use this for my Kindle, Kindle Touch and my Kindle Fire when I want to throw one in my purse. Even though the Kindle and Touch are not a tight fit they do not slide out due to the soft cushy material on the inside of the case. I have just ordered me another one that has designs on it.

We used this for a kindle at home to protect it from scratches etc and it did the job. It's nothing fancy but it did what I expected and the material held very well, after two years it wasn't damaged or anything like that.
BUILT Kindle Fire sleeve is great- fits the kindle well, is easy to get the kindle into and out of, but there's no worry it will fall out. Inside is nice and soft and does clean away most fingerprints. I'm very happy with the product. My only complaint is that mine came with a water stain on it- and the package didn't look stained, so I think it was wet/ spilled on before it was mailed to me.
I really like this sleeve. It's sturdy and light. It also keeps the kindle from falling out, even when you hold it upside down. The kindle fits inside of it quite snugly and I've had no issues with it being able to protect my kindle.
I really like this sleeve case. It protects my kindle fire very well. It fits in there snug and I don't have to worry about it getting scratched or falling out of the case. The material seems to be good quality too and I like the color.
BUILT stuff is always great, this is the first BUILT product I've actually purchased and it does not disappoint! Attractive, fits perfectly, solid protection...
