This is exactly what I wanted. See the picture for the collection of colors I received, with a 12" ruler for scale. I think there's a perfect range of bright and muted colors. I'm more into neutral tones and there's actually enough of them, plus brighter colors for other projects.
I am a fiber artist and use a lot of perle cotton. This thread is as good quality as I can buy at 5 times the price. I love all the vibrant colors.

Its obviously not the highest quality thread and it really doesn't have any sheen to it. I purchased to make doll clothes, and for that I wasn't looking for anything special. For the price its great and works up nice. Great color selection! My daughter loves all her new clothes for her Calico Critters! If I need more I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

This item is perfect for String Art! If that is your purpose, I say buy with confidence. I also cross stitch but I think the thread is a bit too textured for that and would not recommend if that is your purpose for buying.
