I have a beautiful pair of earrings that i haven't worn in over a year because i had lost the backing. I purchased this product in hopes that it would be compatible with my earrings. It arrived nicely packaged with 50 silver backings and 50 gold backings. I tried it on immediately and wore it all day. It fastened on securely and held my earrings in place without loosening. I bought this large bundle of earring backs as replacements or substitutions for earrings I already own. I prefer this style of backing as it helps large button earrings to stand up rather than falling and hanging on the ear because of a small backing. I like that the backs are half silver-tone and half gold-tone. Some of the backs fit snugly on my earrings and some are too loose. I suspect this is not a fault of the earring clutch-style backs but due to differences and variance in the earrings themselves. They weren't made as a match, I'm combining two different products. I enjoy having spares in my jewelry box as earring backs are so easily lost. Recommended!
With the years, everything starts going south,including earlobes.These little doodads make my post earrings stay straight again. Hint: grab them by the disc part to put them on your post.
I have several earrings that I have had designed with a screw back so that I cannot lose them. One custom pair I have are very heavy and were actually hurting my ear lobes after a while, so I tried your bullet clutch backings. Much to my surprise they actually screwed onto my earrings and the little support the backings give made the earrings much more comfortable and at the same time safe to wear as they cannot come off without being unscrewed. So you have one happy customer here!
These solve my problem with the positioning of my stud earrings. No more flopping or tilting sideways. And I like that I have both the gold color and silver. Cannot believe the low price! They are not very tight in the post, but they have been just fine during the three days and nights I have worn my current pair. If they begin to feel loose, I’ll just replace them. I think this would be a great item to add to a birthday or holiday present.
One caveat is that the holes can be a little bit too big for some posts.

This type of earring back really helps earrings show off to advantage and not look droopy, but on some old types I have, the plastic had gotten sort of grungy. I was still using the old ones that were discolored and stiff because they were necessary to hold that type of earring. After getting these, I gladly switched out the backs of all of them to these new ones. I even switched those where I was still using the regular backs. Having so many pair encourages me to switch them as needed. These fit all my earrings whether the post was substantial or very fine. They are much easier to hold than the miniscule gold ones that come of some small studs. They go on smoothly and hold well. I assume they'll loosen over time, but I'll just replace them again. It's really nice to have so many.
Honestly, everyone that uses earrings knows the struggle when you start losing the backs. Not sure why it took me so long to think of looking for them on amazon but I finally got them and am so happy. Comes with silver and gold ones which is nice. No more struggling over lost earring backs! So far they have worked really well with all the earrings I've used them with.
There are a LOT of earring backs here. It's nice that they come in two colors. So far I've run into a couple that don't fit my earrings' posts real well, but with so many I just tossed the ones I didn't like. I do wish the clear plastic discs at the back were slightly wider and heavier for better support. I compared them with some backs I got at a department store a number of years ago, and the old ones are sturdier. Still, I think these will serve their purpose just fine, and I have plenty of spares if any don't work out.
I read the other reviews...and thought that many were unfair! These earring backs are Extremely Inexpensive, yet people seem to expect them to be as good as backs that cost a Lot more! I only had 3 come apart...only 3! And they hold my earrings well...even the heavier ones. They are easy to handle, given their size, but don't show in the front.
Given their price, I give these a 5 Star Rating, and will buy them again when I need more.
