This stuff is great! For years I’ve used coconut oil. My son used it for his eczema and dry scalp. It works wonderfully on skin and takes the itch away. I use it in baking in lieu of vegetable oil which tends to be made of soy and is something he can’t have. I’m now following a ketogenic eating plan which encourages eating healthy fats and use this in my coffee and other meals. The taste is great! I’m a fan of the squeeze pouch too! I bought the 14.2 ounce size and it’s lasted me a long time. I so recommend this product.
I am a fan of coconut oil but have always purchased it from a grocery store and it has come in a jar. I wasn't sure if I would like the packaging of this but it is very easy to use. I don't end up with an oily spoon. On the Vita Coco bag is a spot that says "press here" If you you press on that spot the coconut oil comes out easily. It tastes wonderful and fresh. I think the packaging in a bag is keeping it fresher then a jar because it is exposed to less air. I have used it in smoothies, frying, oil pulling. My son keeps sneaking tastes of it so it is kid approved too. I am recommending it to my friends and to you
The product is great. It's everything your coconut oil needs to be (cold pressed, virgin, unrefined, organic). However, when the jar arrives, it is always covered in oil. I don't know why it leaks but it's disappointing and messy. Not the end of the world, but it's annoying.
Totally in love. I've been using this to take off my makeup (it even removes stubborn waterproof mascara) and as a moisturizer on my legs after showering. It's been great for kids too—I've been using it on my babysitting clients' toddlers and infants as a moisturizer, and it's way easier than toting around a jar of coconut oil. I was worried that these would be greasy and messy, but that wasn't the case at all.

I have used this product before at a friends house and I am so excited to use it at home! I have been really trying to cook more with coconut oil and so excited to use it! I love the way it’s packaged. So easy to warm it up a little with your hands and squirt out what I need into my pan. I love that it gets more compact as you use it. Great for maximizing storage vs my big plastic container that takes up half the cupboard when it’s nearly gone. So excited!!!

The product is great, nice size for the price, soft and smooth texture, and keeps my body soft and hydrated. I have to put it in the fridge during the day so that it can get a solid consistency (due to California weather), then I take it out at night so that it can thaw just enough for me to use in the morning after my shower. I was expecting it to smell like coconut but the initial smell is that of warm butter or like I'm getting ready to cook, but it dissipates just after a few minutes, so I can still put on my perfume of choice and it doesn't interfere.
I was really looking forward to trying this out because my skin is really sensitive and it gets really dry in the winter time. I use it for taking off my makeup at night, which is does extremely well, and for using as a lotion after the shower.
I also work out and I needed something healthier to use in my diet to replace other oils. This oil does not have an overpowering odor or taste, which is GREAT. I feel like I can use it in a variety of my meals and smoothies without the oil affecting the taste, and I can get the benefits of coconut oil, which are so great for my metabolism and energy levels. All in all, you get what you pay for, and it's worth every penny for a product of this value.
I use this instead of lotion as an aftershave moisturizer. It not only stops my razor bumps but also immediately soothes my skin and doesn't burn or cause ingrown hairs. After I got pregnant, I started to shave much more due to increased hair growth and use it on my stretch marks. I HAVE stretch marks, this doesn't do anything to PREVENT them (as not much does) but I have no issues with dry/itchy marks or irritated skin at all. I cannot use cocoa butter because it will cause ingrown hairs and my skin to break out, even on places like my belly. If I'm feeling the need for more creamy moisture vs oily, I combine it with some raw shea butter. I recommend melting coconut oil down first to get all the lumps out, then transferring it to another smaller container to avoid smearing lumps all over your skin and getting them on the floor. Also great for dry/curly hair as an overnight conditioner.
Word of warning, this will make you SUPER oily (I have no idea how the girls in videos put this on their face in the morning and walk out not looking like they got dipped in grease). I use this at night and literally either put clothes on to cover it up or end up sitting on towels not to ruin my furniture. When in my hair, I sleep with it wrapped up and covered.
I loooove this stuff because it can be used for so many things!! It's great for moisturizing skin and hydrating hair. One of my friends makes lip scrubs out of it and she said this is the best coconut oil to make it out of. I've previously only bought the vita coco little round containers but this pouch is so much more convenient! This is definitely what I'm going to be keeping in my kitchen from now on! It's so great.
I'm currently pregnant and having a few issues. Constipation, tiredness, and SUPER dry skin. This helps with all those issues. I have really sensitive skin yet can rub this all over my face and neck before bed and not break out, and have less dry skin the next day. I will also melt this down and drink some for energy and digestion. Also, cooking with this stuff is WAY healthier than other oils. It also melts super easily. The package was delivered on a 80 degree day and when I opened it the oil was liquid, but within an hour reformed back to butter-like texture. This stuff also tastes great compared to other brands. You can pretty much use this for anything.
