I purchased this for my wife's birthday gift, and she is thrilled. My wife likes Big Band and old time radio shows (The Saint, The Shadow, Jack Benny, etc.). I started out looking at original 1930's cathedral radios that have been refurbished, but they cost hundreds of dollars! Then, I came across this little beauty. The radio is very well made - heavy, big, and well constructed. The radio gets good reception. We are in metro-Detroit, and we can even pick up the Canadian FM channels without touching the attached antenna wire in the back of the unit. AM radio does require some fiddling with the antenna. Overall, the sound quality is very good. The bluetooth can be a little muffled depending on what is playing, but you can usually improve this with the "tone" dial. I was initially worried that the CD player would take away from the retro look of the radio, but it is black and the unit is dark mahogany so it blends right in. My only complaint is that the dial lights up when the radio (AM/FM) is on, but not when using other functions (CD, bluetooth), I wish the dial would light up whenever the unit is on. A suggestion for the manufacturer.
Looks great. Sound quality is okay. Doesn't compare sound quality-wise with modern stereo systems, but then again, I bought it for aesthetics mainly. Doesn't blow me away with sound quality, but it suffices. I do enjoy using it with the Bluetooth when I'm viewing YouTube on my tablet. The CD deck is a bit loud running mechanically, but after you turn the volume up, it drowns it out adequately. I just hope it holds up, because the look is right on point.
It’s perfect! The sound is beautiful & the functions all work as they should. When I first set it up, the Bluetooth sound was soft then loud & fluctuated a little. I turned it off & then back on & haven’t had any issues since. A lot of reviewers have mentioned poor sound... I’m not sure if it’s because they are picky or if they received defective products, mine is perfect! Anyone who is super picky, I suggest just getting something modern like a Bose. Now, I have a Bose speaker & it of course has a very modern, loud & clear sound. This I bought because I love a little bit of a crackle. On Bluetooth is sounds just like my Bose. No crackle. But radio has a little no matter how you listen, I think mostly because some stations are just less clear in different locations. But honestly, I could not be happier!
I absolutely love this radio !!! It’s old fashioned with a modern twist !! I can play my itunes library through it because it is bluetooth capable !!! I can also listen to SiriusXM...(I like listening to Radio Classics...the old fashion radio programs from the 1940’s). This radio makes my radio listening time absolutely perfect !!! I am EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase !!! (For those who are upset about the CD player...my “Bose” has that covered !! I did not purchase for the CD player, personally) !!!
I like this radio and cs player. It has a pretty good sound depending on the cd being played I have discovered. It is beautiful workmanship, really beautifully made. It is rather heavy. Has a great sound with the radio but,, the sound differs with each cd, Have not listened with blue tooth yet. I am =really enjoying looking and listening to this radio/cd player.

I purchased this item to give as a gift. The wood cabinet looks very nice and the sound quality was much better than I expected. The gift was a hit and it sits proudly on display.
Amazing! Sound quality on both radio and Bluetooth are fantastic! Looks good, sounds good, and is just comfortable looking. Would buy again.
I like everything about this item. I read the reviews concerning problems with the sound and problems with the CD player. I have had no problem with the sound and no problems with the CD player. I have received so many compliments from friends and family about the beauty of this item and they can't believe I didn't pay a lot of money for it. Excellent addition to my 1920's house and decor.
Awesome Look love the design and color of the wood. Also the Sound on the CD is Nice! The wooden Cabinet helps resonate the Bass Sound that my IPOD Dock doesn't produce. Radio is nice as well but I will use this mainly for the CD Player. Awesome Product! Sorry others had problems or didn't think the sound was great. Awesome Product!
This is a cool little radio, the CD player is not loud but sounds good. When using it with Bluetooth the volume is a bit better and the radio works great. This is great for a single room at a mellow volume.
