This definitely is a rapid charger and with a family of six and multiple devices per person, we loved the extension to the rear seats.
With each device that got plugged in, the charger slowed down. With five devices, it definitely still charged all five, but none were "fast charging" anymore. We were fine with that. We just wanted to keep devices charged up so our cell phone cameras worked all day long as we were taking pictures through the Badlands and other sites where we frequently got out of the car for extended times for photos and then we'd add some charge to the batteries in between the stops.
I'm a Lyft driver and I recommend this product. Backseat customers happy to see the power source. I have not noticed any smell from the device.
I have had this charger for several months now and my kids and myself use it every time we get in the car. We all like that it charges devices super fast and I like that you can unplug the charging cords and put them in the pockets behind the seats. I have a vehicle with 3 rows so I ordered a set of 4 charging cables in varying lengths so people in the 3rd row could charge as well. It’s the perfect charger when you have backseat-riders! We love it!!
Fast Charges 5 phones at once!!! Two USB ports are at the end where it plugs into the power source and 3 on he extension which reaches the back seat. A longer lightning cable takes it to the rear of he van without reducing the time to charge.
This really is a fast charger. I was amazed at how fast my iPhone would go from almost dead to 50% in a short drive and if your driving for more than 15 minutes it will be fully charged fast . I highly recommend this product.

This is one of the best things I think I have ever bought. I got this for a family vacation where there is always a fight over who gets to charge their phone. This gave everyone the chance to use it and having the part that reaches to the backseat was PRICELESS!!! My son could charge and play at the same time which was lovely. I highly recommend this to parents with more than one child!!
I bought this for road trips with my kids— so that still use the devices while they charge because the charger will reach to the back seat. Honestly, that is the best feature. I was hoping it would charge quickly based on the description but it didn’t seem to charge any faster than any of the other chargers we use.

We debated between this and a slightly lower power model. Glad we went for the big one. This is fantastic. The cord is long enough to get to the backseat for our kids. Everything is powered on our long road trips!!
this does the job and is probably only improvable by making the 3-port exgtension wireless. Price is also on the high side.
overall this will do the job and is fine for casual use to keep the occupants from fighting over who goes first. of course only use with the engine running and on the go otherwise you risk discharging the car battery
