These fit great. Far too many of these don't leave enough room in the backside for athletic guys. These fit well and have great room for the front side too.
Almost Lulu quality of 1/3 of the price
The Mission Athletecare Men's Vaporactive Compression Tights are a nice pair of tights. I'm 5'8" 190 muscular pounds (bare feet height) and the Large fit me well. Due to the Spandex, a large on someone my size isn't all that compressive, it will hug but not really squeeze. That said, if you want a tighter fit you can go medium I suppose. The large is rated for a 34-36 waist and the medium is rated for 30-32. Small is 28-29, XL 38-40, XXL 42-44 and 3XL is 44-46.
The material of the tights is stated as 81% Cocona 37.5 Polyester 19% Spandex. I did some research on what Cocona is and it has some complex depth that may or may not be confusing. First off, Cocona can refer to a brand of fabric which comes from Cocona Natural Technologies. The Mission Tights refer to 37.5, which then refers to 37.5 Technology by Cocona. Cocona the brand or fabric derives its name from its emphasis on usage of recycled coconut shell. Cocona the fabric specifically makes use of a multitude of technologies; recycled coconut shell, activated carbon within the fibers and features "natural UV protection. Cocona fabric is said to dry 50% faster than Nike Dri Fit or Under Armour and 300% faster than Coolmax. Cocona claims to perform better the hotter the user gets; basically using body heat to turn liquid to vapor; and thusly, the hotter the user gets, the more it dries.
Cocona seems to not be only a fabric, but an additive fabric component that can be blended with other materials.
This review perhaps turned into more of one for Cocona but I am making this after having tested the tights for 4+ hours as well as currently wearing them and will so for bed. Current testing environment is at 69 degrees Fahrenheit.
I got the matching shirt for my husband and he liked it (with a wind shirt). In active wear he is a large and these fit him well. The first thing we noticed was that there was virtually no compression. He has a 36" waist but would have had to go down a full size to get compression. If anything they were a bit loose on him. It's cold 8-9 months a year in WI so even now you can get a good test outside. He felt that these were warm retaining and kept him dry. Once again he felt he needed a wind layer and wore wind pants over these.
If you are slim and athletically built, you may seriously need to go down a size if you are looking for compression. Run large, retain heat, wick well.
I got these in a size Large. I wear a size 38 or 40 depending on brand so if I got these according to the size chart I should have gotten an XL but those I think would have been too big on me. These size large fit me well and are the right amount of compression to fit comfortably and perform well.
They are very comfortable and lightweight. I like that I can wash and dry them. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low are the care instructions.
Size chart: Small 28-29, Medium 30-32, Large 34-36, XLarge 38-40, XXL 42-44, 3XL 44-46

My husband normally wears a 34x30 and we got these in size Large which is meant for size 34-36. They fit fine at the waist and the length was good, but they were not at all "compressive." If anything they were a little loose on the legs, which he didn't mind. Perhaps a smaller size would have been better. He has worn them under his shorts to play tennis and reports that they did keep him warm and dry. They are meant to be a base layer, which we took to mean that you don't need to wear underwear, but according to my husband, they didn't provide enough support for sports and he had to make "adjustments."
You may want to consider sizing down if you want a more compressive or supportive fit in these.
I got these to wear under my golf pants during cold weather. They are very comfortable and keep you warm. One thing annoying is that they are a bit tight around the waste, but fit great everywhere else. I'm a thin guy, 34 inch waist. Mine are a size large and snug. Not sure if they will fit larger waste sizes. But overall, these are everything they are supposed to be.
These are comfortable and well-fitting compression pants that will serve to keep muscles warm during workouts and runs. I expect to wear these in colder temperatures under warm-up pants. They fit as expected and seem to be well-made and durable.
My pants size is 36/31. The Large size fits me just right.
My husband loves these for running and walking. They run true to size, are comfortable, and easy to put on and take off. the Mission Athletecare Compression pants help sooth and massage his legs. They seem to be of premium quality.
An excellent base layer for cold-weather running.
