Mission Men's VaporActive Alpha Short Sleeve Athletic Shirt, Estate Blue, Small

I am seriously impressed with this shirt. I own moisture-wicking synthetic shirts from various makers (Columbia, Under Armour, Adidas, etc.), but this one performs better than any of them. The material is thin (not a bad thing for a shirt designed to stay dry during active use) but soft and comfortable. The quality level seems is very good, and certainly comparable to more expensive athletic brands. I decided to test the shirt while push-mowing my yard in 95 degree humid summer heat in Georgia. In a cotton t-shirt, I'd have been completely soaked. This shirt maintained only a little bit of moisture and stayed impressively dry given the conditions. Seriously, I wasn't inclined to expect this shirt to perform any differently than my other synthetic t-shirts, but it did. I am extremely impressed - and surprised - by it's ability to stay drier than any other shirt I own.
The only consideration I'd suggest is sizing. This Alpha short sleeve t-shirt definitely has a trim, athletic fit. I wear a 46 long coat and 36-38 pants, and XL is my go to size. The XL here is quite form fitting around the chest, and not quite as tight but still close fitting around the waist. If you like a looser fit, DEFINITELY order a size up. Even if you upsize, keep in mind that this is by design a slim fit shirt and it will still be cut a bit less generously all around.
Overall, I completely dig this shirt. It offers good quality, good comfort, and good looks (the Estate Blue looks very classy), and I am seriously impressed with it's moisture management, which proves to be more than just a claim - it really works.

Great fitting shirt. Does a great job wicking sweat and accentuates my chest, shoulders, back, and arms.

I bought a small. I would think small would fit best on a 5"2 - 5"6 frame from 120 - 140 lbs

Get a medium if you're 5"5 - 5"9 from 135 - 160 lbs

If you're unsure, size up 1. the sizing difference isn't drastic, so it won't be ridiculously oversized.

Tight shirts are very not my favorite. I wear XLT usually. This XXXL (3XL) fits almost correctly. 2XL is tight. XL is laughably constricting.

If you need a compression shirt you will be happy with the sizing. If you want a skin tight fit order one size larger. If you want a Tee Shirt order 2 sizes larger.

The fit of the 2XL Mission alpha is NOT the same as the 2XL Mission proton. Proton is a tapered athletic cut.

I haven't been able to objectively corroborate the 5-times faster cooling claims of the patented polyester, 37.5. Since I didn't burn forty dollars on hype, but instead spent only five I have no need to opt to believe. I wore this to the beach in 81 degree weather with a stiff breeze mostly sitting in the shade of canopy. The unprotected heat of the waterline had me sweating, but not uncomfortably sticky. However I get similar results from DRI Equip polyester fabric assembled into shirts by both Joe's USA and Sport-Tek.

The 37.5 hype would be made more powerful by a video of people in sciency lab coats and timed evaporation comparison of materials. Lab coats = trust as the media propagandists would have us believe.

Fit: Good, but I wished it were maybe 1/4 inch longer. Material: I don't understand the science behind the VaporActive material, but it performs well in humidity. I tend to overheat, and I didn't in this shirt. Also about a half-hour after a speed run, the shirt had dried significantly. Quality: Well made. This is my second Mission item; both are top quality.

DEFINITELY go a size up. If you wear a large in all other activewear brands (Nike, UnderArmour, Adidas, etc)....then you're an XL in Mission. Now that I got the size right, I'm happy with it. The fit is flattering and the colors are great. Comfortable. Just beware that they run a size small...

Light and comfy. "Fitted" (but not too tight). I'm 5-8 190 fit/musc and size large is perfect. Only prob is that it tends to snag and pull, so I'm not expecting to have this one long-term.

Great product but definitely fits more like a L. I always wear US size Large and these fit perfect. I'm 43" chest and 5'10"

Pretty nice shirt. Nothing really stands out about it compared to some of the newer material activewear from other brands. Glad I got it on sale because even on sale, it is still overpriced. Bought it for hoping for more of a "wow" factor.

I ordered this for my husband. He always wears a size large, which is what I ordered. It was quite snug on him, but he decided to keep it. I won't be ordering another one.

I agree with the previous reviews. I usually wear an XL in other brands however the XL in this brand is tight. I purchased XXL and it fits great. Otherwise, the material seems good and the shirt is very lightweight.
