I've stuck with using cloth mouse pads (mostly QcKs) almost forever. This is probably one of the only hard pads I've used that I actually like.

It is somewhat flexible and the texture is smooth and more plastic than metallic, so there's no worries of it destroying your mouse's teflon feet. The tracking is excellent on my Logitech G303 and G400. The rubber base is insanely clingy and the mouse pad does not move *at all* once positioned. The little divot at the bottom of the pad is also a good for placing a wrist rest if desired. The dimensions of the pad are good even if you use very low mouse sensitivity.

Something that I immediately noticed coming from a cloth pad is that it feels like there's almost no static friction. Even the slightest amount of force will cause your mouse to move. This makes it very easy to make small adjustments, but also means you can accidentally move the mouse cursor when you don't intend to just from the smallest of movements. Also, the pad is a lot wider than it is tall. Considering that most games have a lot more horizontal camera movement than vertical, this isn't much of an issue, but it could be, depending on the games you play.

This is a nice mouse pad. I expect it to last a very long time too - it appears to be very durable.

My mouse (Naos 3200) glides over it very smoothly, and tracks fine. My old MX518 also works fine on it.

It's pretty wide, but I like that. It measures 15"x10". The product description doesn't actually list the dimensions anywhere, so I just thought I would get that out there. It's pretty thin too, just over 1/8" (about the thickness of 4 credit cards stacked up).

The grip on the bottom surface is very good - it's not going to slide around at all.

The only potential con I can see is that it takes up a lot of desk space. That is kind of the point though, so it's not a con to me.

EDIT: I am still using this mouse pad, 4 years later. It has held up great. It has some wear where you would expect to see it, but it hasn't affected use at all. Still flat - hasn't curled or warped at all.

I bought this mouse pad to go along with a Mionix Naos 8200 mouse about 1 month ago. I wanted to wait on a review until I gave it a really good workout. The mouse is working out pretty good, although it does feel quite a bit looser than when it was new. The Mionix Propus mouse pad is somewhat of a let down to be honest. My biggest issue is that the mouse almost feels like it is sitting on something tacky when I make small movements.

After a month the glide pads on the mouse are fully broke in and should slide very easily after that, but not with this combination. I think it has something to do with the texture of the mouse pad and what happens to it when the very top layer gets slightly worn. Out of the box it wasn't really what I consider a "rough" texture, more like a somewhat bumpy plastic. The best way I can describe it is like putting a piece of cling wrap over sandpaper. I know that sounds weird, but to me that's exactly what it feels like.

As far as tracking goes, the pad has been flawless. The non-slip rubber base does just that, even after 10 hour grind sessions it is exactly in the same place it was when I started. For those reasons I gave it a 4 star rating, but I feel more like giving it a 3.5 because of the surface issues.

I bought this mousepad, because I wanted a low profile plastic or aluminum mouse pad. I didn't want a mouse pad too big or too small, and this one is in that mid range size that works well. I was a bit concerned about this product not working with certain mice, but my G500 tracks smooth as butter. The surface of this mouse pad is peppered with what appears to by micro sized metalics, and the resistance is just enough to keep your mouse from sliding out of control, but not enough to restrict any movements. It's hard to explain this all, but this mouse pad just works 99% perfect. Good tracking, good resistance, good size. The only thing, I must say that's wrong, is the mouse pad is 1-2 inches horizontally too long for my desk. My CMStorm keyboard(with no numkeys) still overlaps the mouse pad.

I've got an Anker DS-2368 and it didn't like this mouse pad, it was jumpy and didn't track well.

I didn't return this mouse pad as someone I knew needed one and with their optical mouse it works just fine - so I'll still leave 4/5 stars since it only didn't work well with one mouse.

Description

Mionix Propus 380 is the physical answer to performance, design and innovation. The new developed surface is treated with a special silver-metallic plastic coating. According to test results, this special coating offers optimal tracking conditions and improves the overall performance of the mouse movements. A thin base made of PVC-plastic has been implemented to give the stability from a hard mouse pad without compromising the flexibility from a soft mouse pad. The backside is made of natural rubber to ensure a steady grip.

I don't know if it's my mouse feet or the pad but it doesn't slide well on it. I ordered some PTFE mouse tape to see if that fixes it.

EDIT: Well, I bought a new mouse because my old one broke anyway; it's a Kinzu V2 Pro. Sensor works flawlessly on it but the glide lasts for a very short time - after about 10 hours of gaming I can already feel drag in the middle of the pad. If I look at it under light I can see that it's very shiny in the middle compared to the sides. It's not terrible right now but it does ruin my aim for some reason. Even on the side where I use the mouse while not gaming (browsing etc) it still managed to wear out badly and the mouse feels like it's sticking to the pad.

Overall, I would not recommend this simply because it doesn't last. Maybe it's because I play FPS games where I always have to aim at a lowish sensitivity (36cm/360) or just the quality of the surface, but it wears off WAY too fast for the price.

Not only is this gaming mousepad cheaper than the rest, but the surface is top notch and second to none. It is hard but still flexible so it's not LOUD when you have to pick up your mouse and set it back down.

Don't look at razer ones that are just cheap and made of the same materials as the rest. Mionix Propus has a sparkle flecks inside the coating on the top and it doesn't come out and rub everywhere. Durable and great tracking. Get it with the CS Hyde PTFE Mouse Tape, you can refresh your gaming mouse every few months with a little cm strip of tape, makes a great pairing with this mouse pad!

I got this mousepad about a week ago and really like it. It is a bit wide, but the width is nice if you have the space. I love the plasticy smooth feel of the mouse pad. I have had no issues with it peeling or anything like that.

My mouse tracks really well on this mouse pad. Much better than it did with the Steelseries Qck. I had issues with my mouse skipping on the Qck. I have a Mionix Naos 8200 mouse so I hope it would work great on this mouse pad.

Extremely well-built mouse pad.. I've used it daily for gaming for over a year now and there isn't any sign of wear anywhere on it. This mouse pad is very smooth, which I love. You can blow on my mouse and it'll slide across the mouse pad easily. My mouse also tracks perfectly across it, despite the little sparklies in it. This is a pretty large mouse pad.. it's 15" x 10".. I consider that a plus! Definitely a great product.

I have heard nothing but great things about Mionix, and wanted to see what all the hype was about, so I purchased the Mionix Propus 380 mouse pad. Having a good mouse is definitely important to PC gamers, but having a good surface is also important. The Propus 380 mouse pad has a hard, yet flexible tracking area, with a smooth silver-metallic plastic coated surface to ensure optimal tracking. The bottom of the pad has a rubber base which allows maximum grip on table. The 15in x 10.25in or (380mm x 260mm)extra wide tracking area makes it the ideal surface size.

Needless to say this mouse pad is exactly what I was looking for, and cheaper then what I expected to pay. Brilliant design and cheap, that's why I gave it 5 stars.
