I spent DAYS comparing every single countertop dishwasher offered on this website, in addition to offerings from Home Depot, Lowes, and other stores. After so many hours of research, I feel like I’m qualified to receive my PhD in Dishwasher Studies.
After everything that I had read, I decided to go with the Ivation Portable Dishwasher. Yes, it was a bit more expensive than the others, but it was totally worth the extra money.
It fits neatly on our countertop, gets our dishes cleaner than ever before, and I haven’t cursed at the sink while trying to scrape-off hardened cheese in months! Our swear jar is practically empty now!

We are really pleased with this dishwasher. It runs quietly and does a great job cleaning the dishes. It's easy to connect to our kitchen sink with the universal adapter we also bought on Amazon. Had to pay extra to get it sent to our remote location in Alaska, but it was worth it. We found that liquid dishwasher soap works best. Some powder packets did not dissolve as expected even when cut in half, but we later figured out it may have been the packets not the dishwasher at fault. We were hoping it would fit on the counter under the cupboards but it was an inch too tall.
I recently rented a house which has no dishwasher and no counter space for a dish drainer. I decided to purchase this dishwasher after reading many reviews. I am very happy with my purchase. It is quite roomy and I am able to fit all of my dishes for the day for 2 people and run once a day. My tap water is quite hot and the dishes come out very clean. I do use a rinse agent which helps the dishes dry much faster. I have had an occasional dish which does not get clean but it is usually because it was loaded so it was not getting the full spray inside the machine. Dish soap I use is Cascade liquid with Dawn . Rinse agent is Cascade Platinum. Open door and pull out tray at end of wash cycle so dishes can dry completely. This dish washer comes with the adaptor for your faucet (it is attached to the hose). Pull back white ring to detach adaptor. I had to use silicone tape on it so it would be a tight fit. I also purchased a rolling cart so I can roll the dishwasher to the sink while in use. Overall I would say I am 100% happy with my purchase.
love this washer, it is very quiet. can not hear it in the other room running ,unless it is draining. does an excellent job cleaning. just follow the instruction and you will be 100% happy. I am so glad I ordered this dishwasher! Not just because it works like a charm, but mainly because the Mrs. is so happy with it. Happy wife, happy life. Guys, if you are looking for something to help your other half save time and energy, get this product.
Starting with installation, took a bit to understand, but once you take everything out and lay it out, it is super easy to install. I believe the quick connect fitting for the faucet should fit most kitchen faucets. Just connect the new quick connect to your faucet, hook up the hoses, plug it in, and you're pretty much ready to go.
I think it took us longer to decide what side of the sink it was going to go than it took to install.
Using the dw is very simple, connect the hose, turn on the hot water, press a few buttons and you're all set.
Interior size is adequate for what we need, I know she wishes we had a regular size dw but our kitchen space won't accommodate a full size one. Again, due to its size, it does fill up quickly even for the dishes a family of 4 can use.
Would I buy it again or recommend this to anyone? Absolutely without a doubt!

Does a good job cleaning the dishes. Be sure to use the rinse aid and keep it clean for best results. It will not fit ALL full size plates. I have a variety of "full size" plates some fit some don't, it seems more about the height of the ridge at the edge of the plate more than the length, plates with a low profile edge ridge fit, when the ridge goes way up above the bottom of the plate they don't. The amount of dishes you can fit in here you could definitely wash by hand in less time than it takes for the washer to run the cycle, but hey at least your not standing there doing it yourself like a dunce, plus the washer reaches a higher temp for disinfecting than you would washing by hand.
