I took away a star because my husband swears my son smells like a wet dog after using this wash/shampoo. Although I don't get that exact smell, the aftersmell is not great in my opinion. He smells very odd after washing which is not appealing whatsoever after a shower! It cleans him well, so we are going to try another scent before giving up on the brand!
I love using Fresh Monster with my little one. It's still a daily struggle convincing her to close her eyes for just a few seconds while I rinse her hair, but having an organic tear-free shampoo and body wash makes life MUCH easier just in case she gets some in her eyes, up her nose, or in her mouth.
I've already reordered multiple times, so I think that vouches for the reliability of the product. Highly recommended!
My 6-year old loves that the scent isn't babyish and he loves the pump because he can do it himself without making a mess. I just wish he didn't love it so much so he would stop "making his toys smell good" and wasting the soap! Oh well, it's always something. 😀
As a mom I am happy because the soap is mild and hasn't irritated his sensitive skin and seems to foam well on a pouf.
Love this stuff! The coconut scent is our favorite, but we are trying all of them. I love that i only need one bottle by the tub to wash the kids hair and body! And it leaves their hair soft, which is impressive seeing as 1 of my kids has a curly messy mop of hair. I even starting using it in the shower for myself and I have long curly hair. Cant say enough good things about this product!
I bought the coconut version first and absolutely loved it for my son. He is 11 and has had eczema and severe allergies since birth and this product has not irritated his skin whatsoever. The coconut and ocean splash both smell wonderful without being overpowering. We are all very sensitive to smells as well and no one in our home has been bothered by either one. I've even used this on my baby who has skin issues as well. We are thrilled with this product and will continue using it on both children!

I love this shampoo. The ingredients blew me away! They are all natural and great. Even the scents are natural!!
The smell is a really clean, fresh, almost beach-y scent. Although I do like fruity kids shampoos, I do prefer the fresh and clean smell!
I haven't heard either of my kids complain about it getting in their eyes and hurting, either. My kids are pretty sensitive to most shampoos. My oldest (4.5) will get redness all around his eyes even if the shampoo doesn't come into contact with his eyes. He's just THAT sensitive to the scents and other ingredients. However, there was absolutely no issues with this shampoo. He seemed perfectly fine.
The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the bottle seems a bit small for the price, I wish it was bigger and lasted longer but you do get what you pay for and in this case you are getting a completely natural shampoo & body wash with a great scent. Sometimes I even add a squirt or two to the running bath water to get some bubble bath action! I also have their detangler and love it so much! I'm excited to look at the rest of their products.
This is a really great product. My son has very sensitive skin that breaks into rashes easily and since switching to this body wash we haven't had any issues. I also LOVE the scent - smells like a day at the beach. The cherry on top is that the kids think the monster on the pack is fun - after the product arrived it was sitting on the counter and my 2 and 4 year old boys made a beeline for it and started asking all about the monster and said they wanted to take a bath with it right away - win! Note that this is not a bubble bath, but it lathers really nicely for washing. Many child products don't lather well; this product lathered better than the Johnson & Johnson Baby Wash that I used to use. Great buy.
It’s light to use and easy to rinse off. Knowing it’s free from harmful chemicals is a good motivation to use it. You could start selling them in bigger sized bottles/more quantity. I feel like I am hurting the environment by throwing away such good plastic bottles after using up the shampoo as it finishes pretty fast. I recycle them, but still I would like to use them as long as I could. You could probably come up with a big Refill bottle that people could pour out in their current smaller sized bottles.
I was looking for a shampoo/body wash for my 4yr & 7yr old boys that didn't smell like watermelons or strawberries. I found Fresh Monster from some googling, and I'm so glad! it has a clean scent they like, and foams up just enough so they like to wash themselves with it. And since it doesn't have any scary chemicals I feel good about using it on my children (and sending it down the drain to our waterways). I'm looking forward to trying more products from this terrific company.
Loved this for my kids. Safe yet actually foamy! 2 pumps on a shower poof is more than enough for my 7 years old's whole shower. Smells like the beach. Only negative (as with all safer products) is the higher price per ounce. For now, I will be trying a DIY kids shampoo/body wash recipe, but I will definitely buy this product again someday!
