Belkin Kindle Keyboard Case for All New Kindle Fire HD 7

This little keyboard works perfectly; it appears to be rugged; the whole assembly (Kindle HDX and keyboard) in the roomy jacket I wear, or about any place I want to stow it. I have no problems whatever ... ALMOST ... my old reliable Palm Pilot was accessorized with a keyboard that folded lengthwise that was clumsy, but it wasn't too small to double as a pocket typewriter (Yeah, I'm an old guy) and I want a keyboard that folds to the same dimensions as the Kindle ... just a thought.

But this little keyboard is also a carrying case for the KIndle, giving a small package that sure beats having the big beautiful screen half blocked by a virtual keyboard, and the price is not a whole lot more than some of the covers that are offered, and the whole package than a laptop computer.

It deserves five stars ... but it just misses by a tiny bit, and I anticipate being ready when I need it ... and it's a great value.

The keyboard (using it right now), does what you expect it to and is faster than writing on the screen. If you are like me, and type with both hands and all fingers, this is for you. If you type with your thumbs then stick with the onscreen keyboard.

Belkin is a good brand and that is why I chose this keyboard, although it is a bit pricey. The battery lasts a long time. I have charged it once only and it's still going. Have not measured actual work time.;Will do during the next charge cycle.

Debated because of the cost but tried it anyway---and kept it. It sits on it's stand securely without having to attach it to my Kindle. It is well made and sturdy. The keys are large so I don't have to stress over hitting small dots with the kindle built- in keyboard. Doing a lot of typing when traveling makes this so easy! The battery is more long lived than the Kindle even when not used for long periods of time.

It works well. Together they aren't light weight, and I wouldn't say that using the keyboard and tiny monitor would ever replace a laptop, but it servfes the purpose for traveling. I was surprised how easy it was to set up.

I'm writing this review using the Belkin keyboard. It serves its purpose well, but some of the keys for symbols and punctuation are not in the usual place, which confuses my touch typing at times. As long as I remember that, everything is good. It has paired with my Kindle Fire (previous generation) beautifully and holds a charge for quite a long time. I've accidentally left the keyboard on, and it still worked when I tried it several days later. It was definitely worth the investment. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the issue with some of the keys in different places.

I think this is a fabulous little tool. There are a few keys out of alignment from the standard keypad but nothing horrible. The real difference is reaching for your mouse that's not there. I returned mine but only because it's not quite suitable enough to take over for my laptop and I see no reason to have both. The Kindle remains my "library" primarily. I suspect it always will be best utilized as that for which it was originally designed.

I love it i just wish the kindle fit in it a little better. I had to literally tape my kindle in there.

It works great. I bought it at a reduced price...I think it was an open box item. Very low price and with the gift card I earned through Bing it only cost me 2.99. I feel that I got a real bargain as it seems brand new.

I use this keyboard and case with my Kindle Fire. There are times I prefer to type on a keyboard and this is easy to use. The case forms a stand that is OK. I can adjust the viewing angle and it seems to stay in place during use. My stylus fits in the fold so everything is ready to go when I open the keyboard. The keyboard charges with the same style jack as the Kindle.

I needed a carry cover for my Kindle Fire. I'm very pleased to have found this Belkin offering. It accomplishes two jobs well. It securely protects my 7" Kindle Fire. And having the added keyboard is also appreciated when needed. Some had written that it's too confined but this works fine with my hunt and peck typing!
