My friends have been trying to convince me to get Arccos for a while, and with these new Smart Grips, it seemed like the right time. The setup is really easy, just really regripping your clubs like you would with any other grip. After only one round, I already am beginning to see the real distances on my clubs. I can't wait to play more just to get more information about my game. A+!
By far their best upgrade to date, no longer do you have to screw on sensors to the end of your clubs, smart grips have the sensor built in on the end of the club so no worries if one falling off in your bag or while your playing. The cups are of high quality, if I’m not mistaken they are Lampkin grips. I have only played 3 rounds as of yet since installing them so I cannot comment on the caddie part of the system but so far they are very accurate. For the putter they include a standard round screw on sensor because of all the options in putter grips out there. My only suggestion for improvement is to offer a few of the more common putter grips and have the consumer choose either from say 3-4 different putter grips or choose the screw on sensor. That would be a perfect world. As for accuracy in the shots taken I would say its very accurate and almost exact aside from a few times the putter sensor picks up an extra put here or there, I believe the putter sensor may be the most sensitive so there may be a learning curve while carring your putter or while fixing divot marks. Overall an A++. Can’t wait to see what they do next, for my I always carry my phone in my pocket so it’s not an issue, I do know some people prefer not to have their phone in their pocket so this system would not be for that type of player.
Great tool for any golfer that wants to improve! Being able to see the “handicap” of each facet of your game is amazing. It shows you exactly what you need to improve on and what is working well. Best purchase for a golf outside of a Laser Rangefinder. Which a good one will run you over $300. This has GPS and is integrated in the grip. A great alternative and extremely “smart”.
(This is for Apple users) I have tried many of these golf gadgets but in the end, this was simply the best one. The accuracies, the battery life and the ease of use is simply outstanding. The only small criticism I have is the app on the Apple Watch is too basic. Otherwise no complains...I can only recommend it.
I love these grips. They are comfortable and you do not notice the sensor at the end. Each club is easily synced to the app. Once you start your round there is very little you need to do other than golf. Keeps pretty accurate scores. You will have to add penalties when they happen and if you count them.
I love the stat tracking that the app allows you do. I always wondered how far I hit certain cubs on the course, now I know.
I wish I had bought these last year.
