This crazy contraption really works! I bought it because I'm traveling for two weeks soon and I didn't want to spend a ton on cleaning bills at the hotel. I've been using it on sweaters and blouses mostly. They're dry in an hour. I can't wait until I try it on the road. Be careful when you open it up though, the tent sort of opens up with a lot of momentum.
Surprisingly, it works. This is for a sailboat and I also purchased a portable washer with a separate spinner that takes about 75% of the water out. This little pop up tent finishes the rest of the job in about an hour. It is extremely portable, but I can't figure out how in the world it would ever fit into the tiny bag that it came with. The only criticism I have with this product is that it isn't really tall enough for my men's t shirts to fully hang inside without the bottom of the shirt laying on the inside of the tent. Also, I suggest moving the clothes around every 15 minutes, as it doesn't necessarily dry uniformly.
Edit- I was pleasantly surprised that the seller is replacing the heater version of the item, without making me pack up the whole system. Excellent customer service so far, so I changed my rating. Really excited to get this- I dye yarn and wanted this to be a quicker way to dry them.
Well it worked for exactly 1 minute then wouldn’t turn back on. Now I have to wait for the seller to approve the return. Don’t waste your money.
Meets the online advertising. Works well when you know how to set up the drying time correctly. (Which depends on how wet the clothes are that are hung inside.)
Does the job. It hangs about three t-shirts but would have been the best if it was larger.
