I purchased this for my 3, almost 4 year old daughter. I looked at many other bikes before I decided on this one. The main selling feature was that it came with a hand break standard. My older daughter was almost in a horrible crash when she was 5 because the chain came off her bike on a hill, so the brakes didn't work. Yes, I know that she could have put her feet down to stop, but she was too scared to think of it at the time. Thank God a stranger heard our yelling and stepped in to stop her. The bike came well packed in a box with all the tools needed to assemble. The directions were in broken English but the pictures were easy to follow. It took me 20 to 30 min to put together mostly because I had "help". My daughter loves the girlie color and the ribbons on the handle bars. I like the fact that there are no pictures of princesses, Barbie, or any other character that could fall out of favor and therefore start the whine for a new bike with the latest favorite character on it. Here are the downsides: 1. the training wheels have very little adjust to them, so you can't raise them off the ground as your child gains skill. 2. the plastic fasteners on the basket are not very strong so plan on using something else to keep the basket on long term, like zip ties 3. The bike ships from the factory in China so shipping takes a little longer.
UPDATE: My now 4 yr old daughter has been riding this bike almost every day for over 3 months now and we are still happy with it. We have found it to be very sturdy and have only had to reattach the bell once and have tightened all the bolts. I was a little worried that the training wheels were not wide enough to keep the bike stable, but they seem to be fine. She really has to work at it to tip this bike over. I am happy with this purchase and would buy this bike again.

The BEST bike! I know those colorful character bikes at WalMart look enticing, but let me urge you to save for this bike. This bike is far and away a better quality than those $40 bikes with the bells and whistles. The body of the bike is a strong metal that won't bend or get broken with a fall. The seat is hard, which is a good thing. It has a little lip at the back for added safety and comfort. The grips are comfortable.
The wheels are where the best differences lie between this bike and cheaper bikes. They are STRONG and glide smoothly. The training wheels are just the right length to keep your little one from toppling over, but can provide a good distance from the ground to encourage balance.
My daughter is 5 years old and 40" tall. I recommend the 16". The 14" would have been outgrown too soon. Let them grow INTO the bike instead of OUT of it.
This is a beautiful bike. Well made and will last for a long time.

I bought this bike for our daughter’s third birthday. We are absolutely happy with this product. It arrived quickly, very easy to put together, and the features are just amazing for being so cheap in price and for only being a children’s bike. I am an avid bike lover, and noticed things about this bike that are of very high quality. There are breaks perfect for the size of a three year old’s hands, we love the bell, the basket is perfect for her dolls, the pedals are perfect height, and the bike actually moved backward and forward without having to pedal like with some adult pricey bikes. The seat has a quick release lever and is perfect for adjusting and re-adjusting at will. I feel like my daughter is safe riding this bike and she just loves it. It is very sturdy. The color is so cute and the details like the hearts on the tires make for a great something extra. We highly recommend this bike to anyone. I looked for hours on amazon trying to find a good, well priced bike, and this one is definitely worth it! All we had to do was pump the tires up a little bit and she was ready to go.
Great bike, very cute, super sturdy. The training wheels are the best, multiple ways to adjust them and no wiggling. My daughter loved the dark pink color and she rides it easily.
A few days after we got the bike, my puppy chewed the seat completely to pieces. I called the customer service number to see about ordering a replacement seat. But they wouldn't let me purchase a new one, instead, they shipped one to my daughter, so she could have the excitement of getting a box in the mail, and charged me nothing! Super friendly, got a person with every transfer, never an auto "push #... for parts," and I couldn't be happier all in all with my purchase!
Really cute bike in nice colors (not overly bold), dual brakes (pedal and hand) and broad based, detachable training wheels for excellent steadiness. The seat and handlebars are height adjustable. This is a great little bike. Purchased a 14" and my daughter is 4 1/2 and it fits her well with some growing room. Has a bell, basket, pedal brakes and a handlebar brake. Very pretty and also good tires.
I just assembled this bike for my daughter. I build mountain bikes so this was extremely simple for me to assemble in comparison and I would assume it will be simple for almost anyone. The bike is solid and she was able to ride without training wheels on her first try with this bike because of it's stability. Only experience she had prior was a balance bike with no pedals. I love that the seat has a handle for me to hold if she needs a boost or if you're teaching your child how to balance. The handle is also great for the kids to pick up their bikes if they need to get over an obstacle. We have not had this bike long enough for a thorough review; I will update this review once we have had a fair share of use from this bicycle. So far, very happy with it.
Very cute bike, my three year old daughter loves it. I ordered the 14in in blue. My daughter is small for her age so the 14 inch is perfect and will grow with her for awhile. It was easy to put together I think is took about 20 minutes. The bike was bubble wrapped and very well packaged. Yet some of the bags holding the smaller pieces were opened, possibly from re packaging/returned but nothing was missing and everything was new. The handlebar tassels are flimsy, I do not think they will last long. It’s a great bike and priced right!
I bought the 14" for my 4 year old daughter. She is on the shorter side. She rode for three years. One year with training wheels. Even as she clearly outgrew it, It handled great. Even the cheap plastic pedals. Hand brakes don't work super great but little kids cant use that anyway. With all bikes, a little bike knowledge goes a long way: Seat/handlebar adjustments; hand brake adjustments; training wheel installation; tire inflation; zip tie addition for basket, etc. Would buy again. Tried to buy the 20" but no coaster brake (very much needed for young riders).
I give the actual product and RoyalBaby 5 stars, I am deducting one star for Amazon's delivery. Box was pretty mangled, as well as my other item delivered at the same time by an Amazon delivery van.
Front rim was bent due to the poor handling by Amazon. I decided to call the included number from the manufacturer and spoke to a very nice gentleman who was originally from my area and he is sending me a new front tire assembly to rectify the issue. That is what I call excellent customer service.
The bike is very nice, easy to assemble, and all tools you need are included. Instructions could be better, but they are adequate.
I can easily recommend RoyalBaby's products since they clearly understand how a customer should be treated.
