I decided to try this dryer since it was the newer model and am glad I got it. I have washed 15 loads of clothes now with the Haier HLP21N and dried them with this unit. I has worked flawlessly and am happy with my purchase.
Pros
-Comes with little plastic exhaust hose that turns into log ars hose when you stretch the accordion section out
-The unit will automatically flip your clothes while drying by stopping the tumbler changing direction for 5-10 seconds then resume previous rotation
-Mutable options depending on clothes inserted ie heavy duty, towels, delicate ect
-Unit is lightweight and sits easily on top of a stand
Cons
-When drying on auto you are limited to 1 hour and some heavier clothes will take over 1 hour making you start another cycle. But with the humidity sensor it will stop itself short of 1 hour if the clothes fully dry.
-Not really a con but could have used option to vent from side/top so could sit flat against wall.
One side note. You WILL need a table or stand to sit this thing on b/c it only stands 2ish feet tall and anyone but a Keebler Elf will ruin his/her back after a few loads.
Unfortunately, it arrived with a couple of dents near the back, which are not very noticeable so I will keep it rather than returning it for an exchange. But I was disappointed that it was not in perfect condition. It came in a heavy weight shipping box, with an inner box that does not have a bottom with two plastic shipping straps, and styrofoam and cardboard on the corners and around it.) It arrived with some minor scratches as well.
When I opened the box, it had a brand new dryer smell. I wiped it down inside and out with some vinegar and water before putting my clothes inside because I have MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) and haven't used a laundromat or public washers or dryer for many years. I got the Costway Portable washer a year ago on Amazon and love that too. This dryer now makes my life so much easier!
This newer Panda model has touch-pad settings at the top of the dryer. Yay! Big plus. The other models have a knob on bottom right. It has a blue illuminated light that goes around in a circle, showing it is running. It is whisper quiet (imo). It came with a plastic vent tube and attachment for the back. It also comes with mounting hardware in case you want to put it on a wall (?) or? I set it on top of a couple of heavy wood crates until I can get a stand or table for it. The height is better for the back if it is off the ground. It also came with four adjustable screw-on feet in case the floor or ground is uneven like mine is.
I am posting some photos and a video. I thought it was kind of funny when I read the instruction manual and the first thing it warns about is fire hazard and NOT to use a plastic vent tube! :) I know they are just covering themselves legally, but it's kind of weird they would send a plastic vent tube when they claim it is a fire hazard. (See photo). I was going to buy a metal vent hose anyway, so I am going to use a metal one because the plastic one looks as if it might crack or wear out quickly. But, it works nicely for now.
I was researching these small portable dryers for a long time and was going to order the less expensive Magic Chef dryer, but I am so happy I spent the extra money to get this one! They carry it at a popular home hardware store, but Amazon's price was better for the exact same model. No regrets at all (so far.) I will update after using it for a few months if anything changes. Even though it arrived dented (as have all of the other appliances I have purchased from Amazon :-(, so I kind of expected it, I give this dryer five-stars and recommend it.
PS: The only thing that would make it even BETTER is if it came in different colors, like black or grey.
This 110v dryer works. I wish in auto dry mode it would let me choose the lower temperature. It has to be timed dry for that. The dryer works. I hope it lasts because it feels kind of light weight and cheap. Time will tell. The only real gripe I have is the lint filter. It is round and located all the way in the back of the drum. It is a pain in the neck to reach all the way in to grab it and then you have to use a vacuum cleaner to suck the lint off the filter and screen. It would not be so hard if this dryer was raised up on a pedestal.
I love this. I live in an apartment and I have to walk like half a block to go use the washer dryer which dozens and dozens of other people use this place is pet friendly so it’s a lot of dog and cat hair in the washers and dryer’s all the time. I Also bought a portable washer here on Amazon and I have a puppy so I’m able to wash his stuff right away it’s really nice to just have it in my unit it’s portable and took the way I love it is his. So far it’s very dependable it fluffs my clothes they come out nice and dry. It is quiet and has a moisture monitor so will stop when the clothes are dry. I bought a vent kit and ended up using the vent to go out the window instead of into the container because with the vent kits where you put water in the container it puts too much moisture in the air. Good buy I’m glad I spent the money for a good one after researching for several weeks .
I did alot or research before buying this dryer and I don't regret it at all! It holds alot of clothes, dries them nice and fluffy (so minimal lint). And it seems guite quiet! I love that I took the chance! So worth the purchase!!!

It works but takes much longer to dry clothes than regular dryers. I have to hang dry towels and pants otherwise dry times can be two hours. Also the lint trap is a bit odd, its in the back of the machine and needs to be changed after every use or it takes even longer to dry. There is a soft filter that is hard to clean; I have been using a sticky lint roller on it and that seems to work well, but its kind of annoying.
Still overall I'm happy. It works and the price was reasonable enough. I combined this with a vent-less receptical for the steam and it works fine.
A high quality dryer. Especially like the auto dry feature. Can be vented out a window. Digital display is a nice touch.
Works great! Exactly what I needed for my apartment. I purchased the Panda washer to match this dryer and they both work as expected. Perfect!
Tip: don’t over stuff the dryer and it won’t take as long to dry. I say only fill it 3/4 full (max.).
Had it for a month and I have nothing bad to say about it .. it works like a dream .. I would definitely recommend this!!
Good quality sturdy machine with lots of settings available for a small machine. A few things: it's so short it's easy to bump off and the power button works even when it's locked, also it takes a long time to dry 1 load. On the plus side it takes a standard 3 prong outlet.
