I CAN FINALLY SLEEP. I have a 6 month old who loves to sleep directly on her face... I didn’t sleep for DAYS. I finally got this mattress cover along with a Snuza and I can finally sleep knowing she is safer, even with her face down in the bed. I covered my whole nose and mouth area with this cover and I could breath with ease! This is a must buy for a worried momma with a rolling baby!!
I love the newton mattress but the normal mattress covers I hate. They zip all the way around and so they are hard to get on and the zippers break very easily. When I ordered this, I was on my third and my child is two and a half. I thought this was a normal newton mattress cover, so when it arrived was amazed - It solves all of my problems. No zippers to break and easy to get on and off to clean. I had no idea this existed. We are having another baby and will get another Newton with this mattress cover.
Love this mattress cover! We are using this cover on a cheaper mattress than the Newton Baby mattress so we can have piece of mind knowing that when our baby starts rolling onto her tummy, we will sleep soundly at night. It’s completely breathable, you can put your mouth and nose in it and still breathe fairly unobstructed.
Very high quality! It fit great on our crib mattress. I love how the elastic wraps almost completely underneath the crib mattress so there’s no risk of it coming off and bunching up near baby.
We were going to buy the Newton crib mattress but then I realized that Newton also had this mattress cover, which I could put over the crib mattress we already had! It’s perfect and feels like it is very good quality. I ordered some muslin sheets to go over it, but they aren’t here yet so I can’t speak to how well they work in combination.
Although you can sleep directly on the breathable mattress and wash it in the event of accidents, this allows me to just change the cover for wash if there is an accident. I find this easier than the mattress.

Have yet to use it since our baby is a newborn but I’m super excited that the newton company made a waterproof cover for their mattress. I’m sure my baby will sleep like a dream once she’s in it ! Worth every cent if you have the newton mattress in my opinion
