Highlights:
- Great Design: Probably the best looking mechanical keyboard out there. Excellent choice of materials, great industrial design.
- Switches: Cherry MX Red switches are a great stock / starter option for gaming and general use. I occasionally take it to work in an office environment and my co-workers aren't bothered by the sound.
- LED Backlighting: The bright and vibrant backlight LEDs look very nice and have highly customizable animations (I love the explosion animation). The aluminum top plate reflects the light and adds a nice effect. The video I attached has the out of the box rainbow animation.
- Software: Reliable and well designed software for Mac and PC (I use it on both). It also let's you change the behavior of individual keys which is really nice. I usually change caps lock to backspace, this software makes that very easy.
Cons:
- Although I'd argue that it's worth it, it's still way pricier than similar options.
- For this price range I'd expect additional perks such as bluetooth or perhaps an included wrist-pad.
- There isn't a version without the number pad.
I hope the review was helpful!

First off I would like to say that this keyboard is great! The floating key cap design is beautiful, and is extremely well done. The choice in key switches are great with the floating key cap design allowing the keyboard a nice clicky sound without being to loud. The RBG lighting is at the perfect brightness as to not overpower the light emitting from your computer screen. I do have two issues with this keyboard the fact that the secondary functions are not on the basic key caps themselves nor are they on the colored key cap sets that you can purchase from Mionix this is a major feature that should be included for a keyboard of this price point. (I ended up having to purchase a third party key cap set to fix this problem) Lastly, the wrist rest that you can purchase from Mionix that is made for this keyboard is slightly short if you line up one side of the keyboard and the wrist rest together. Since is marketed for both gamers and artists the lack of uniformity with complementary products seems a bit strange though this is just a visually anomaly that I noticed because I tend to stare down when I type.
The quality of this keyboard is built great and it feels great as well. The keys themselves feel nice and smooth, different than other keyboards I've used. It has the Cherry Red switches, which makes them nice and quiet as I mostly use this when I'm working in my office and then take it home during the weekends. I currently don't have any complaints or issues with this keyboard other than the price of it. It is a little bit higher priced than other mechanical keyboards, but it is likely due to its sturdy build quality. I'd probably buy another one to leave at work or home permanently if it had more options such as being cheaper, maybe different colors, or even a tenkeyless option.
Great keyboard. Would recommend if you don't mind spending a lot for a sturdy keyboard.
I changed from a Mionix Zibal which was my favorite mechanical keyboard, but spilled a drink on it and there was no way to get it back to normal :(
The new Mionix Wei is beautiful mechanical keyboard. RGB lighting is awesome. The build quality is solid and feels like a tank. I haven't messed with any of it's built in settings. But will do in the future. The Cherry MX Reds are awesome keys. However I do like the Cherry MX Blacks (Mionix Zibal) because the actuation pressure was greater. But overall I can't complain. I do miss having a nice angle from keyboard feet but the keys are in a built in a slight angle which is just right for my palms.
One feature people might not like is that the keys have a minimalist design, so the Shift+ symbols are not on the keys. However, these keys are interchangeable so that shouldn't be a problem who needs to see those extra symbols while typing. I got this keyboard for my gaming PC and the aesthetics and functionality is perfect! Good job Mionix!
Beautiful keyboard, especially with the different colored keycaps. Key clicks are not too loud, but are still satisfying. I work from home and this keyboard really helps me enjoy waking up and getting to work!

Just want to add that I purchased this keyboard from amazon, and have been using it for a few months at work. High quality components. I'm not sure if they use MX Silent Reds instead of Reds, but this keyboard is VERY quiet for a MX Red board. I own other boards and was thoroughly impressed with the sound dampening.
Looks good, feels good, sounds good.
As long as it hold up better than the Corsair it's replacing, I'll be very happy.
I returned a Logitech G910 (prime day for 80$) for this, and I'm very happy I did.
Even the software is super clean and simple.
So far it's legit the best keyboard I've ever owned.
I came from the corsair K70 both are great I just liek the feel of the keys and shade of the lighting with the WEI it is extremely responsive and a great looking / performing product will buy another when this one wears out.
This keyboard is very nice. I like the fact that I can go without the clickyness of blues, but still get the feel of a Mechanical Keyboard. This keyboard is extraordinarily quiet for a Mechanical. It feels great, looks great.
This was an impulse buy for me, I have a bunch of boards with brown and clear switches and wanted to try a full-size red board. I have a few 60%-75% red and black boards that I like, but don't type much on due to the lack of keys.
Pros:
Looks great. Nice color and a very minimal look.
Very solid w, Aluminum baseplate and rubber bottom. Plastic center housing is very solid.
Great backlighting w/ multiple profiles.
Key remapping is fair, key mapping follows the same profiles as the backlighting, which is nice, I think.
Very compact for a full-size keyboard.
Ambivalent thoughts:
Non-detachable USB cord, but it has a decent strain relief and wraps around the board well, also I imagine the whole board is smaller due to not having to make space for a USB plug and cable routes in the housing.
Lack of shift legends on the keys looks good, but could present a problem if you don't know your symbol locations
ABS keycaps. I really prefer the feel of PBT, but the font and color is great. W/ PBT the font would not be nearly as nice.
Cons:
Non-standard bottom row. I have only found a couple key cap sets that can cover every key, and that is by using blanks for the right hand 'fn' and menu keys. None of the keycaps I've found look as good as OE.
I can't really think of any other drawbacks.
I included a couple of pictures that show the OE keycaps in a normal environment and one with some random aftermarket gray and black keycaps which show how much nicer the OE color and font is.
