We have had this freezer for a while now and it is very quiet. We haven't seen any frost build up. We are very happy with this freezer, and it holds a great deal more than we thought it would.

I have had it for 5 weeks, and it is working quite well. I have it set at 5.5 on the scale of 6 on the freezer dial. The dial is in the back lower right corner as you face the unit. So you need to make a choice BEFORE you shove it into its final location. This setting of 5.5 gives me a temp of about -16°C, which is fine for my purpose.
We use this freezer to store enzymes in a medical research lab. The freezer is inside of a 4°C walk-in cold room, and all that works fine.
