All I can say is WOW! I just received this machine yesterday and have done 3 loads of clothes. It was super easy to set up and get started. It has amazed me in the amount of dirt it has gotten out of my clothes. The spin side gets almost all the water out making the hang dry time very short. I test washed one of my thickest towels to see how much water it would get out in the spin, wow, wow, wow it was almost completely dry and only took about 20 to 30 minutes to finish drying. I had watched many youtube videos and read many reviews before deciding on this machine and so glad I picked this one. Yes, it does take a little more work moving from wash side to spin side but I did not find this to be a problem at all, but that is the problem with many people now is they have become to dependent on fully automated devices and find anything less unsatisfactory. I highly recommend this one if your looking for a compact portable washer as you will be very happy and not regret it.
I purchased a portable washer 2 years ago from a different manufacturer. It did a good job but I always had to repair it. I paid over $200 for it too. This one was half the price and it's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! The quality is outstanding! I am beyond impressed with the Giantex washer. Above and beyond my expectations. MONEY WELL SPENT!!!
Works fantastic. Very quiet. Only thing is, I wish the drain hose was a little longer. Barely fits over my bathtub. But other than that, it's a gem! And Amazon delivered promptly!! Highly recommend.
I bought this washing machine a few weeks ago and have been using it exclusively for the laundry of a family of 4 since then. I like its sleek design, simple operation and very efficient spin dryer. I went into this purchase thinking it was only going to hold a few items but I was pleasantly surprised to find it can hold quite a bit. Even king-size sheets fit! The drain hose definitely needs to be longer. Some plastic has "shed" from the machine and exited via the drainage hose. And since the drain function relies on gravity to do its job, the washer cannot simply sit on the floor and drain properly. When loaded with clothes and water, I estimate that the washer weighs nearly 70 pounds which may be too much weight for some people to lift. I am in the process of building a custom cabinet for the washer that will safely elevate it for draining purposes. I also use the detachable showerhead in my bathroom to fill the tub with water as it's simpler than fiddling with hoses. So far, it's done a good cleaning job, including some stains on clothes. Keep in mind that using this machine requires more hands-on labor and time than a standard automatic washer but if you have the time and want to save money, this is a good buy. Also keep in mind that you need a place to line dry all your laundry and that clothes will not feel as soft as if you had dried them with heat. For the price, I am for the most part happy with what I received.
This is a lifesaver. I'm a fulltime RVer who HATES going to laundromats and I have become quite skilled at making that last clean tshirt last a week, not a good thing! It's perfect for your small loads every couple days. I've been at a beach the last couple months and have a pair of shorts that were washed at a laundromat recently, but they still looked dirty! Since this does smaller loads, it really gets things clean. If only it could suck out all the sand! Ha!
I also find this color combination very attractive. A friend let me check hers out and then just gave it to me after I ordered this and I like this one visually, I'm giving the other one to another vanlife friend!
You will use a lot of water if you are doing insane amounts of laundry, but once it's just a small chore, I don't think it will be an issue.
I am mostly solar powered and I'm able to run it all day! Highly recommend to people in apartments, RVs or small houses where you don't have the ability to have a washer/dryer set up.
Note: this spins the clothes really well, but you still have to air dry. There is no heating element.
I'm going to buy one of these lint traps to catch more of my pet hair too!

Evidently my brand new GE washer sucks, because my Giantex beats it by a mile! I use less soap, for less time, and my clothes come out looking cleaner, and the towels come out smelling fantastic. And so you know, I have had a leak in my dirty garage and I don't have a shop vac, so I've been using towels. Yes the GE gets them okay clean, but I'm spoiled now because I won't use a towel that hasn't gone through the Giantex.
How I use mine: I was clothes for 6-9 minutes, spin dry 1 minute, then rinse 3-6 minutes (longer for towels), spin dry 1 minute. The clothes go in the dryer and are dry in 30-45 minutes (I stuff that sucker full-2 full loads from the Giantex), as opposed to 1 - 1 1/2 hours for a normal load.
Changed my life. It is more hands on and needs more attention, but laundry is done so much faster now. Love it.
I got this machine and I love it..in my home we are a family of 4 and were i live I'm not allowed to have a washer it works great just needed to get an adapter for the hose but other than that works just as good as a regular washing machine
This machine does well. Clothes washes well and the spin cycle spin the clothes almost dry.
I had another portable washer with spin tub, but this one is much better quality.
I would call it little giant, it is small but pretty powerful, it washes my t-shirts, socks, shorts very well, I don't have to go to laundry mat for my light clothing
Love it. Bought it for our trailer. But it's winter and I'm using it at home. It's more than I thought. Holds a lot. Really spins the water out of the cloths.
