I've read several positive reviews. Really liked it when I came out of the box attached it to the hood of my car to do engine bay work. This fit in various gaps and continued to impress wherever I was working. However there is a structural defect between the rubber grommet and the black plastic body parts. My Flexit split and stripped the plastic. I'm assuming it's because the anchor for the flexible portion is sandwiched between those two screws. Still a neat little thing, just wish that it had been constructed of sturdier materials.
UPDATE - Reached out to Striker and they've already shipped out a replacement. The flaw will remain but they're customer service has been excellent.
I love the light modes on this unit. While I only have really used the "all on" setting, the different light settings are fun to experiment with. The magnet on this light is powerful enough to hold the light in place, but the hook came in handy when no metal structure was available. I have only had to charge the unit once with sunlight, and I have yet to deplete the batteries in the week I've had the unit. That is a cool feature that will make this light a staple in my emergency kit. I will be ordering another unit to replace my propane lantern because this light is so bright, configurable AND safe enough my kids can use it when we camp without the fear of all things kids are capable with matches and flammable gas!
Got this primarily to work on my computers. There's a lot of tight spaces when working w/ computers, and even a strong lamp can't get to it because there will always be something else inside the case to cast a shadow on what you need to see.
This task light does a very good job of bending and positioning itself so you always get light where you need it. It's also VERY bright. Even on the lowest setting, w/ only 2 LED bulbs on, it's pretty good for work light. The next setting turns 4 on, and the last setting turns all of them on.
Note, you cannot control which ones turn on. It starts from the bottom-center when only using 2-bulb mode.
Build quality is pretty good. It feels silicon'y, kind of like those silicon kitchen gloves and utensils. When you bend it, it does a pretty good job staying in the general shape you want it to. And yes, the bendiness is definitely useful. It's because instead of having to re-position the entire light, you just grab a corner and bend it where you need it.
One minor complaint. There are 2 magnets (also a nice feature), presumably so you can anchor it on metal surfaces. Unfortunately, the actual weight of the product is too much for the installed magnets to handle, so if you're trying to support the whole weight of the light just on the 2 magnets, it tends to slide down. However, they are strong enough that it sticks pretty well on anything that's not at an extreme angle.

Working to rebuild a 1952 IH Super A tractor there are places flashlights and work lights just don't give you the light you need, the Striker Concepts FLEXIT 4.0.0 light can be positioned just where you need it and it stays put!
Ordered the Striker Light through amazon as I had seen it advertised on TV to see how well it works. Since having it I and my wife have used it many times to help light up various house hold needs. Its amazing how easily you can bend it help you light up dark areas like under sinks and it will conform to just about every work situation giving your very bright light to see what your doing. The magnets are very strong and will stick to any metal surface for better lighting uses. Since getting this light I have ordered several more as Christmas gifts to a couple friends and they have reported back to me how much they like and use theirs. Would recommend to any one needing better work lighting. Plan to order another one for my shop.

Super bright and the batteries last a long time. Glad to have this light during Hurricane Harvey.
Love it. Very bright lights. Strong magnet. Also, like the hazard lights. I haven't actually used it outside of the home yet. Handy when the lights are out and you're able to walk around with this bright flashlight.
I bought one of these for my dad for Christmas and didn't know what to expect. I just bought it becauseit was cool and unique and I knew he wouldn't have one already. Whenever he opened it I was shocked by how bright it was and immediately ordered a second for myself on Christmas day! It has 3 different settings:
- 2 lights lit which is equivalent to a flashlight
- 4 lights lit which is like a lightbulb
- 16 lights (highest setting) is like spot light...... No kidding! It is actually brighter than my spotlight. Amazing!
I honestly do not think I'll ever use my flashlights or annoying bulky spotlight that requires an outlet and place to clip it. This light is magnetic, fleible, cordless, can b rolled up and easily stored, uses simple AA batteries. I will definitely be buying a few more of these.
I love these. What a great product. Rechargable capability would take this great product to the next level.
Works well. Flexible. Multiple brightness modes. Works great to put on the ground under a car. My only issue is that it’s so flat, I have rolled over it some with my creeper. I have bought a couple replacements now over the years.
