I just couldn't believe the price differences on Range Hoods but this was exactly what I wanted. It was totally in my price range. I love how bright the lights are underneath and how quiet the fan is when needed. Very happy with my purchase.
I purchased this range hood from Decorative Kitchen and Bath about two weeks ago, their customer service was excellent and they shipped the hood so quickly that I received it ahead of the scheduled delivery date. This is my third Cavaliere range hood; I have installed one in every home (see picture of this model just installed) I have bought in the past few years and they all have performed admirably. This model is more quiet than the older SV218B2-30, but the quality and performance is as good. The controls are very sensitive so basically you just need to barely place your finger tip on the button to get the desired effect. Cavaliere products are a fine piece of craftsmanship and at this price, you won't get a better deal any place else. I wouldn't buy any other brand.
Easy to install. The first unit I received appeared to be faulty. It was extremely noisy and vibrated when first turned on. The seller contacted me within minutes after I went on line to arrange with Amazon to return it. They sent links for videos to trouble shoot and were very helpful and supportive. They sent a new unit immediately with no questions asked. My only complaint is that it is a bit noisier even on lower speeds than I had expected, but I have not set off the smoke alarm once since I have had it!! I would recommend this unit especially if you have to have rear venting.
Bought my 1st hood fan from Home Depot and when unboxing looks like it was put together by three year olds. Can’t remember the brand but I took it back. Of course this delayed the process in building a house. Ordered this from Amazon and was assembled correctly and installed within hours ( I’m not a pro so probably took me longer than a contractor). Vent looks great and works very well so far. Happy with the purchase

The CAV-SV218B2-30 wall mounted range hood is a beautifully designed vent hood that expands upon the traditional range hood unit. This range hood is constructed of 19 gauge brushed stainless steel and features a telescopic decorative chimney, aluminum grease filters, a 30-hour cleaning reminder and a 900 CFM Motor.
I am handy but we need a lot of time entrire week end for said somenthing. But he woek pay off the range hood look pritty and the exhaust take all the odors outside the house. 5 star.
If your ordering the stainless steel, please know it looks white when you open the box because of the covering that's on it. Don't freak out and be a J. A. Like I was and and start to initiate a return. This group was very kind and accommodating , and explained to me about the white covering. If I was them I would have told me to go eat dirt because of how rude I was.... great company and excellent customer service.
I installed this unit in my kitchen and it works great , vent is powerful and the light is very bright .
I liked it very much but I find the fan a bit loud
