Wanted to get something certified to work on a kindle (I have nightmares about frying various electronics with cheap chargers)
all in all i am very pleased with this charger as it performs excellently and looks great (it matches my phone and kindle case)
Great product, albeit slightly more expensive than alternatives
I ordered something similar from a different vendor and the cord was not included. Amazon refunded my money and I ordered this one. I am VERY happy with it. I chose not to order black just to make easier to find.
This is for my Kindle and I wanted something to disquingish it from the other Kindle users in my house. The red let me know instantally who has my chargger and therefore can get it back when needed. I bought the Powerfast adapter with it and of course, I can always use it in my car as well.
These work as expected. I love having the charger in a bright color rather than black, so that I can easily find it in the glove compartment when needed. I bought two of these--a red one for my red car, and a blue one for my husband's blue car.
Due to a forced carpet replacement by landlord I lost the connector recharger for my Kindle and Cell Phone so this item fixed the problem and all items including my New Fire are kept constantly charged.

It snapped in to the outlet snugly and worked just fine. Others were loose and the connection kept going off. So far, I am happy with this new one
I like the fact that it lights up when properly connected. It didn't work in the cigarette lighter, but my vehicle had an additional 12v port that worked perfectly. I was also able to charge my phone and still move it around while using the GPS while on the road, unlike the standard coiled charger.
