My husband made fun of me for spending $16 on 2 baby spoons and I had my own doubts but we both agree that these are awesome!! Anyone who sees our 6 month old eating says she does so beautifully. It seems very instinctual. Baby latches and sucks food off of spoon. Who would've thought a spoon design can make such a difference!

These are great spoons - I purchased 5 or so different brands as I have a very determined 7mo who wants to feed himself. This brand is in the top two - easy to hold and the food (for the most part) stays on the curve. I like that it is shallow so it does not take a lot of effort to get the food off. Of course we still have drops and food allover but that is par for course - as long as my little guy likes holding it and holds it more than he drops it, I am a happy mama!
They are silicone so you can just toss them in the dishwasher - I also tested the orange one in our sterilizer and it was totally fine too! Overall great product - in our daily feeding spoon rotation.

These were wonderful and I partially credit them for our baby's early success with purees. Every baby is different, but we now have a strong eater who will take just about anything. Best with the most liquidly purees.

However, after about a month or so, once he had the mechanics down, these take a back seat, only used once the Oxo baby spoons are all dirty. They just don't hold enough food at that point. I would give these as a gift to a new parent, but I won't be buying additional ones for myself if we have another baby.

Like so many other reviewers I was hesitant to purchase these due to the price tag. I'm so glad I did! My 6 month old eats twice the amount of food with literally no mess! I thought my daughter just "wasn't into" solid foods, but it turns out I just didn't have the right spoon! I've been recommending Spuni to everyone!

Let’s just say I love these spoons so much that I waited 5 weeks to order more when they were backordered, instead of buying any another brand! They’re my favorite baby spoons. My baby girl started solids at 4 months and at almost a year, we’re still using the original spoons we purchased. They’re durable, easy for baby to latch, soft silicon for teething and easy/ comfortable to hold while you feed your baby. I just wish they made shorter versions for this next feeding stage as baby tries to start feeding herself. The longer handle style makes me nervous when she tries to feed herself. But as a whole, I highly recommend these spoons for when you begin solids and I hope they make shorter versions eventually!

Ergonomically designed by MIT graduates and devoted parents, Spuni’s patented tulip design triggers baby’s natural latching instinct to help baby transition more naturally to solids. Spuni's innovative design also prevents baby from choking on too much food, making mealtimes safer and a lot less messy. Spuni baby spoons are just the right length to reach the bottom of food jars and bowls. Made in Germany from food safe, medical grade TPU – the same material used in pacifiers and baby bottle nipples. BPA free, BPS free,Phthalates and PVC free. Each set includes a clear plastic travel case with two baby spoons in bright attractive colors that babies love. Hypoallergenic and top-rack dishwasher safe. Ideal for 4+ month babies. Before Spuni, infant spoons were simply miniaturized versions of adult spoons, designed with little regard for an infant’s needs. Spuni, baby’s first spoon has been designed through countless hours of observation, testing, and prototyping, and it's unique patented tulip design makes starting solids safer, easier and less messy for babies and parents everywhere!

I think my baby is just a messy eater in general. I did not notice too much of a difference in the mess when using these spoons. However, I do like that they are smaller spoons so I do not accidentally give him too big of a bite. They are nice and durable. The handle is hard and is not flexible. The spoon part is not very flexible but is softer than the handle. Great product.

I received them as a baby shower gift and I was excited to try them. I actually thought the spoons were a bit too small and way too expensive, but it’s well worth your money 💰. It is my son’s (6mo) favorite set of spoons and there’s less spilling than other spoons. I would recommend to others. There was a question about a travel case, but it comea in a BIG, hard plastic case that doesn’t stay closed - it’s just a packaging that spoons come in, which is held by a tape. I actually use disposable hand gloves to put several spoons in (always need extra with little ones!). It’s perfect to keep spoons separately :)

These spoons are the best! We have one in every color. We've tried other baby spoons and all of the others were either too wide (hard to get in baby's mouth) or too deep (food was still in the spoon after each bite). They don't have high "walls" on the side, so Baby is able to get all of the food out of the spoon. We wash them in the dishwasher and they've held up very well. The only minor issue is that we noticed that some of them are slightly stained from orange foods (carrots and sweet potatoes) and the carrying case lid doesn't stay on well (I really don't use these anyway, but thought I'd mention if you plan to).

These were the perfect first spoon! Small enough so they don’t get too big of a bite and my daughter had no problem latching onto it. She even holds it herself! Highly recommend hand washing these for how expensive they are it would be a bummer to ruin one.

At first I passed on these spoons because of the price point. Didn’t see how a spoon could be revolutionary enough to fork over $20 (see what I did there...)
After using regular baby spoons, I realized the tulip shape may be helpful after all because of my babies eagerness to latch.
I ordered these spoons and I’m glad I did! He likes eating so much more now. He is eager to practice. With the other larger, flat style spoons, he couldn’t figure out how to slurp the food off on his own so I was basically wiping the food off on the side of his mouth and then catching everything he couldn’t figure out how to swallow.
With these, he is latching and slurping and automatically swallows as he empties the spoon.
I still wish they were cheaper because I’d love to buy more but I can’t justify $60 on 6 spoons, no matter how great they are.

Read reviews complaining about sharp edges- we did not experience that
Also read reviews about the spoon being too shallow/ small for a proper portion.
My son is 5 months old and this portion is the perfect size for him to practice eating with. I could see how it might be tedious to use this spoon with a one year old but at that age, they should not be using a latching reflex anyways- this is a beginners, stage 1 food kinda spoon.

My only complaint is that while yes- it comes in a hard case, the case doesn’t “click” shut. The lid slides right off unless you tape it shut. Which I’m not gonna do. At this price, I wish I could use the case as a travel case.
