Glad I purchased this! I use it primarily; however, I am still trying to decide which one works for me as I have the Wave and the Everlast too. I use tabs to divide my various writing assignments. Having the ability to take notes and them email them to the designated locations is a plus as it cuts down on paper waste. I also saved on stamps because I wrote my thank you notes and then emailed them thus saved the recipient paper waste. Yes, it does say it's one-time use only but I have erased it with a blowdryer and better yet with my craft hot gun which is must faster. It's kinda cool to see the erasing process as I blow heat on the page. As I stated above, I do have the Wave and the Everlast. The later while it's noted as long lasting is a bother because wiping the pages off and taking the time to let it 2 open face pages dry before you wipe the next pages can be a bit tedious. The Wave could also be blow dried (haven't tried that yet) but the squarish size I purchase is a bit awkward for me. My husband has the smaller Wave which we purchased instead of the Everlast because he is left handed and reviews talk about the smearing factor. He is happy with the smaller Wave as it fits into his shoulder bag. Note the quality of the paper for the Wave is much more durable than the one-time use one, so it will last longer. However you do get more pages in the one-time use (140 pages vs. 80 pages for the Wave and 32 pages for Everlast.
Now the Frixion pens. i do like them, prefer the black Color stick ones as it shows up darker than the other ones. I can't speak to the longitivity of them.

I gave the Rocketbook Everlast a three star for the reason that it is mostly a gimmick. I debated on whether to give this a four or five star and settled on a five star for these reasons. While this is a single-use notebook, the paper quality draws me to it. I like writing with fountain pens. When I am underlining in books, I tend to use a Pilot G2. I despise the FriXion pens and the writing experience on the Everlast notebook. If you look at the images I took, this notebook works excellent with different fountain pens and the amount of ink they can put on the page. Is it worth the price? It depends on the person and the use. I have yet to take a serious of notes in it and scan them, but the brief test for the review has encouraged me to make this my standard notebook until I use the pages up. After using this notebook, I will not be using the Everlast notebook at all.

Good job Rocketbook.

This Notebook is perfect for college students who need to keep notes instead of erasing them but also want to back them up to the cloud. I use this for diagrams for my electrical engineering class.

This book does not have the cool erase feature of other rocketbooks. (as it states: single use) It will not erase with a wet cloth, only the pen’s eraser. So if you want to clean a page, you’d need yo erase word by word with the pen.
It’s a few dollars more, but you can get rocketbooks that are designed water-to-erase. The microwave style erases about ten times before wearing out.

Four stars because it does what it claims , I just didn’t read carefully enough.

Great Notebook, the pdf scanner part was what I was after, it works great and the pages are nice and big to get a lot of actual writing and notes on. However, one thing to put out, is if you write in pen, and then write just a little hard you may see the writing run though to the other side, not ink bleed, but the marks and the outlines you can see. Especially if you really draw in a bullet point. Be light if you make bullet points!

I love this rocketbook app and paper in this notebook, the book has the best paper, I use it for a bullet journal with flexion pens they are great!!! I wished rocketbook made a planner and made the book with more pages and a stiffer back cover so I could write more on the go...but I love them and will buy more

I like this notes recording system, especially when combined with Evernote. Although I can touch type I prefer to take bandwritten. notes when talking to people in meetings. which happens frequently. Since there's always the possibility of losing the notebook I like to scan in my notes from time to time. Evernote had a special notebook which worked pretty well but they seem to have stopped selling it. This is a little different in that it has a black border on the pages. It refuses to scan at all without the black border. However they provide a free PDF you can print and the Rocketpad software is free.
If you write on a card and lay it on top a blank notebook page it will OCR fine. Theyy have some different ways and approaches, like wiping with water and microwaving. I like to keep my notebooks and refer directly to them while they are fairly fresh anyway and I don't write enough that killing trees is an issue. Plus I sometimes like using a fountain pen. My favorite now is the Japanese Platinum brand 3776 with carbon ink cartridges. Just an aside. The recommended frixion pens are pretty brilliant. You can erase a misshapen letter so it will OCR better since crossed out things come out as gibberish. And the pens leave no erasure dust. The results are searchable and you can get a left justified copy by email. They're searchable as images in Evernote because there are word tags hidden and embedded in the actual image. You can use markup languages like Markdown or Fountain for formatting left justified text with special character tags, which is used for movie and play scripts and formats things while you write for later. Also, the spiral notebook lies flat unlike a Moleskine and books like that, so you're more likely to use the back of the paper. This is kind of a specialized product, bit I like it.

I am having fun with this notebook. The app works well. The quality of the cover and paper could be better.

I am a technology coach for teachers, and I have struggled to organize my notes for all the people with whom I work. Rocket book is a lifesaver! Not only am I more organized, but I have converted a large number of educators to rocket book. You will not be sorry if you buy this.

I got my first for free at a conference I attended and have gotten hooked. I always take notes in meetings by hand and then type up more thorough notes after the meeting. Until I got a Rocket book my desk was filled with hand written notes that I was storing just in case I missed something in my typed notes. Now I can quickly and easily upload my hand written notes to be stored in Evernote with my typed notes.

I have tried the Rocketbook Everlast erasable version, but I found that my handwriting suffered too much from the slippery pages. I still have that as a backup, but use the Rocketbook One in my day to day life.
